There's nothing to judge this game with, and the grammar on parts of the site is pretty bad.

Umm...There is no telling what will be the dominant force, that will vary by server.

I don't expect WoW to continue climbing the way that it is, forever. I see the genre heading in a direction where there will be several top games at one given time. Of course WoW is going to have the highest subscriber count for a long time to come, but nothing lasts forever. When Age of Conan came out, they lost a good chunk of players, and only gained a fraction of that back. AoC is doing well and is healthy right now. Warhammer will come out and people will go to that, also. Aion will come out, and more people will go to that too. It's a cycle that's inevidable with how many really good games will be out at 1 given time, now. It's just a matter of time to see the numbers settle in.

A grind fest is when all you do is hunt mobs for the sole purpose of gaining XP, that being your only source of real XP, and it taking ages to gain a level that way. Aion is not a grind-fest.

Cool. I know alot of people who left WoW to try AoC, they  did play WoW again for raiding and arena, but thats all they use it for, they play Age of Conan as a second game.  It's coming along very nicely, but I didn't expect it to be as popular as it is! Warhammer is definiately gonna be the game to challenge WoW over a long period of time.

I wouldn't play it either, if they put Microtransactions in.

The bottom line is the company with the subscription based game HAS TO UPDATE their product. They are legally obligated, as you are paying for it on a regular basis.

F2P games however, since paying is optional, so is updating their product. You will find that P2P games have many more content updates, fixes, and expansions than a F2P game in boths prime "Lifespan".

Aside from that there is nothing "wrong" with the F2P business model but like the poster above me said,  playing for free you miss out on a great deal of the benefits and content that players who pay out the wazoo for everything to get ahead. I for one perfer not to have that barrier there in my community.
