I've noticed this as well, especially in Open RvR.

On my server, my guild is the only order guild that organizes keep sieges, and actually accomplishes them due to someone calling out targets and everyone focus firing them.

Occasionally I show up at other guilds trying to take keeps and I can usually play Benny Hill music in my head while watching it, it's just horrible.

Once Order figures out that you need to play your jobs (healers and tanks, you're not all dps) and work as a team, then we will start to see some competition on servers.

Skill does not reflect population. The ones in Tier 3 might be good and everyone below that could be you know.. Not there.

If you're looking for scenery definately go with Vanguard or EQ2 first, given you have a decent rig.

Typing is more my favorite if I'm just trying to play a game for fun.

If I'm looking for a more "hardcore" aspect such as huge raids, teamspeak/vent is always a better choice.

Theres nothing to ruin a gaming experience like seeing a huge orc that sounds like a 13 year old boy

Same situation as everyone else once I got my EMT and got hired on a Fire Department. I went from being able to play FFXI competitively (Most time consuming MMO ever) to hardly having 3-4 hours a night to devote to gaming.

Personally, I'm looking forward to when I'm in my 60s and retired so I can get back into MMOs full time :D

I just hope there's ways to block some other peoples creations.

I do not want my universe filled with 70% male *cough* organ-esque creatures.

Combat slow? No way.

Try playing FFXI then let me know if WAR is still slow.

In your opinion, which MMORPG feature has:

1) evolved the most, since the begining of the genre?

Evolved in a positive way? Probably economies and crafting. Although UO was great, look at what EVE and PotBS are economy-wise and what Vanguard is for crafting.

2) changed the least, since the begining of the genre?

Thing that has changed the least? Well.. We're still swinging swords and blocking with shields in almost every MMO we have so I'm going to go with timeframe MMOs take place in. There are a few sci-fi, I know. But not enough. And only a couple pirate ones :P

3) changed (for the worse), since the begining of the genre?

Grouping. Definitely. Grouping used to mean something in a MMO, it made players learn to PLAY in order to get to the highest level, or advance their skills in case of sandbox games. If you sucked, word got around and you didn't get groups so you didn't advance at all. Now you can just solo to the top in pretty much every MMO out (save FFXI and it's amazing grouping system). That really kills the immersion with games being on an epic scale with communities.

Just to be clear, these are three answers for three DIFFERENT features.  I'll leave my answers out, because I don't want to "steer" the thread in any specific direction.

Red answers.
