Don't think it's going to be tonight.. on the herald it says tomorrow morning... which is very broad - but I hope you're right! I may just have to stay up till my 10am class to catch up with my CE guildmates haha

I'd say black orc closely followed by swordmaster/ironbreaker (depending on your play style) and Chosen last. Swordmasters are very underrated by many people at this point. I played on as a main in beta and it was very fun and effective - and could be just as hard to take down when played a certain way.

As i have already stated and EVEN PROVEN by logging into CB and meeting others, i have been in CB for awhile now. Even dev's know they made WAR to resemble WOW in order to (and in hopes) that by attracting WoW player base they make it UI friendly with close to no learning curve!

 

WoW has a good UI... why not take parts of it and use it? I still doesn't play anything like WoW or look like it outside some small interface bits.

But I have an 8600GT with a custom zalman cooling fan so its overclocked pretty hardcore.. was able to run AoC on fairly high settings with 40-50fps and LOTRO on max with 50-60fps.. not great but runs any game decently.. probably the only thing holding my cpu back a bit....  you can get one on tigerdirect for about $60 bucks if they still offer the rebate.. not sure if it would be a bit less hard on your PSU unlike the 8800.

Hmm, yeah Dell.. don't go with them anymore.. build your own its the way to go and is customizable. That's how Dell makes their money, they're not near as customizable. Hmm, wonder if you could buy a pretty cheap CPU case and PSU? Probably for about 125-150? Would be kind of a hassle though.

Dunno why you need to ask if those specs will work... its obvious it won't have any problems as long as you pick up a video card made within the past few years..

For me, other than the RvR system obviously, it was the 3 different realms and many, many classes and races.

I was always Midgard and I couldn't wait to crush the pansy Albs that consisted of a huge zerg back in the early days in BGs atleast (didn't get to the end RvR until after a few expansions). If I rolled alb or hib on a different server it also just felt really weird attacking a troll, dwarf, or kobold... didn't seem right.. plus the trolls make you want to run in the opposite direction at the sight of em if you're a caster. Always enjoyed being a troll even if they stuck out badly in the battlefield.

The classes were all so unique is what really made it for me. And having a second enemy running around at all times really made it interesting.. you think you're going to take the CK from the Albs since you finally built up a bigger zerg.. then the smaller group of Hibs sneak up behind you as you're close to taking the keep and are weakened and steal it from you.

WoW's OB was 1-2 weeks I'm pretty sure.. was awhile ago though so could be wrong... a few other games I've played haven't been very long either.

Was kinda confused on that too.. but that's what I took from it... so I guess I may not get any sleep tonight watching for updates to try to be one of the 50,000 :p (unless it means the first 50,000 to enter it in on the beta registration page)

Believe so... this is the actual account management.. which you can only enter closed beta keys @ currently... not the beta application.

Ok - well I don't have the disks I paid for a digital download... but i went into the router setting and turned the dmz off... was enabled and everything seems to be working now... finally got past that file but hopefully it continues working. (crosses fingers)
