Meh, it was more of the same for me leveled two of my chars to 70 once the expansion hit and quit.... Nothing new, just faction grinding and making raids worthless.... They had enough fans to make the expansion better than they did, especially since they have the income to support cutting edge ideas. instead, it was just more of the same with an extra touch of grind.

AFAIK - Still going to be pvpless, lootless, shell of it's former self... Filled with ninja's, samurai, neon clothing, artifact dependant, game...


I will agree that Ultima Online used to be the best game going, that fell through about the same time Trammel came into existance.... They open up some classic servers, i'll play..... I refuse to play with freaking ninja's, samurai, elves and other annoyances that have no place in this game or it's lore.... This game was ruined. It truly was a shame.

The typical EA cycle is to develop an aspect of the game that is new or hard to obtain, let players struggle with obtaining or achieving it and then giving away similar abilities or aspects for free merely with the purchase of their next yearly expansion -  it's a trap, a dangling carrot.

If you play on any shard, I would recommend Atlantic for population, Siege Perilous for the best gameplay and community, and Europa for your location.

But, I don't recommend Ultima Online for any experienced MMOG players, it's has devlolved into mass market crap and a graphics update is not going to change that, only the appearance.

Actually, I said "Die in real life" technically they will as we all will... say what you want - it wouldn't hold up in any court, ever.

Turbine are uptight pricks, I told someone in game to Die In Real Life.... And had a GM contact me about it twice, and then another different higher up GM contact me too lol....

I'd take a diabloesque MMO :p

Keep waiting for Darkfall, see you when you are a thousand years old and still waiting..... In the meantime, I'll let my preorder of AOC at Gamestop speak for itself.

If you havent given it away, I'd take it.. I am from USA, WV to be exact but I do speak German, and a good bit of French.

By the time this game comes out I'll be playing another MMORPG in Virtual Reality, matrix style.

Time to give it up 6 years plus with little progress to show, vaporware.. I first followed this game for a bit because it was supposed to be close to Utlima Online... meh, it aint coming.

I love no stealth. Time to learn to play for all those who hide behind the least skilled of classes.

You may also want to press ctrl alt delete and check your processes tab and make sure it is out of there ( by it i mean LOTRO) if it is there... Thats the problem, it bug'd on you and didnt shut down completely so when you are reopening your computer is saying "Woot, its already open and attempts to maximize it which it cant do bcuz it doesnt exist... sp yeah check it out.

It's free and I looked at the screenies..... Decided meh, never heard of it - I'll give it a whirl... So, I did.... It's not bad, I dont think it's going to keep my attention for long but I did mess around on it for a bit level 22ish.. :P

I've thought that EvE should have had actual player characters since it's release. This is one of the few games that I feel like I play equipment - instead of a character.
