I played the EU version of the game. I only played for a few minutes so I can't really judge the game, But from the few minutes I played, movement is awfully slow, combat isn't all that special, graphics suck (like...really suck) and the translation is awfull, its filled with squares and broken text lines. I actually got a temp ban recently for posting the word sh**y in a post.

I assume that - that's what it was for... They never responded to my emails or gave me a reason... It was a less than 24 hour ban so hopefully someone re-read the post.... I think most around here know that I dont take things too seriously...

But it was a bit odd and unprofessional to temp ban me for posting a curse word when it wasn't a flaming post or a long winded curse filled rant.... Like it states in the rules of conduct..... I sent mmorpg.com about 3 emails trying to get an explanation... Maybe a mod just had a bone to pick with me on a personal level but I didn't break any rules.

Nobody puts quality into RTS as much as Blizzard.  The races are completely different and very tactical.  That's why the have Korean tournaments on the game, because no other RTS would work.  Dawn of War has a pretty fun story that lasts one campaign per game, but don't expect any good online play.

Simple fix, do not allow trial accounts off the station.

WoW is popular enough where they shouldn't allow trial accounts to whisper or send mail.

Always the option of not allowing trial accounts at all.. Would fix the problem entirely for both if they had to buy the game to keep advertising because they get stuck with a perma ban.

I pre-ordered.. Played through to level 34 on my champion and a ton of chars up to 15-20... I really wanted LOTRO to last me until AoC or Warhammer came out... or even spore.... Now it seems, I log on to lotro less and less and less... I think it just got really boring for me and the Monster versus Player system is unfinished.

I should add that crafting is COMPLETELY fubared, doubly so if you are a weaponsmith..

Shrug even on my 2 8800gtx's the game still looked like crappy melted plastic... thats with everything tweaked to max.
