Actually, I have had the most success with WoW's GM's over all others save maybe Mythics.... Anyways, leave them some feedback, they love it and you will find that they will be helpful if they know you leave feedback... (Hint they make notes in your account information for other GM's so if you leave a lot of good feedback, they eat out of yours hands.)

I'd like it to be the next Diablo MMO or not, but I would settle for starcraft... As long as it's not already WoW 2 - I will be happy.

I have to agree....the crafting in this game is useless.  My initial impression of the crafting was it was 'innovative, fun, deep, better than loot', but once I played the game, what a poor system.  Each profession is damn near 100% dependent on another profession, which is a nice concept because it promotes sales and progression, but YOU will be lookign for damn near months on end for that special unique item needed from profession X to make your stuff and really to level your crafting, you end up making completely useless items that you will never use and no one else would ever use cause they can make the same thing and recreating finished items for resale is pointless because the very standard quest items or very common rare drops are better than crafted stuff.

Of course, I didn't learn all this stuff till I actually tried it myself.

I guess you didnt try jeweler, becuase the rings i make, have been the best stuff in the game at every tier.

Necklaces are the best pre 25, and post 38.

They need to work on some professions, but metalsmith and jeweler are doing just fine.

Glad your profession worked out for you... Weaponsmithing on the other hand is so crappy that it can't even compare to looted or quested items... EVEN if i make the rare weapons, it's still a steaming pile of crap compared to any proper level quested weapon... I am sick of wasting my time on it, nearly master of tier 4 , and I have yet (even once) used  a weapon that I have made... ever... I have sold maybe 3?

Weaponsmithing is completely broken.... Why have it if the weapons are completely and utterly useless.... The crafting in this game needs a complete rework... I shouldnt be nearly a complete master of my craft and even using rares unable to compete with quested or drop'd weapons... When you do a quest to get one that takes 30 minutes, I have to mine ore for hours and hours and then cross profression buy to make rare weapons which takes hours and hours... Then I get to pray for exceptional so my time isnt completely WASTED... to make something much less effective than you can get for a 30 minute quest... Yeah right Allegria, weaponsmithing is FAR from almost there... You are blind to this if you havent tried weaponsmithing to respectable level or leveled to a respectable level and seen that the profession is completely useless.

The only thing i can say when people are fired its a bad thing for them. Its a shame some gamers feel otherwise it only shows how selfish they are to wish something like that upon people or maybe because some of them are in the same situation they wish it upon others to be in that sistuation aswell. And then why 3 links all the same edit from the orginal link and all people rushing in predicting DOOM.

I can only say if its trhu i do hope sony's CEO gets fired aswell cause when he spoke about "BIG NEWS" i sortof read that as a possitive else i would expect him to say we have some "SAD NEWS"

Heh, if Smed gets fired for saying Big News instead of Sad News.... I will eat all of my own flesh.

Yeah, I can't wait for all the juicy, disgruntled employee tidbits that are gonna appear in the next few weeks.

It's gonna be like learning how the sausage was made.

It's gonna be more like learning how potted meat was made...

Once you knew, you didn't want to know anymore.

No thanks, I dislike puzzles because it slows the game down to a crawl or into a wall.... a very few sporadic puzzles would be ok but really, they will be on a wiki or a site... So they are only puzzling if you play before they are figured out...  It's a waste of time that could be spent on something else, I think.
This is a honest question with no sarcasam.  You say the time could be better spent on something else.  What do you think it could be better spent on?

Content that won't be as out of date as answering a question or pushing gears in the right order... Or firing a bullet every 3 seconds for 9 seconds and clicking your heels 5 times to recharge a gate....

I mean seriously, the puzzle answers unless randomized and even then the answers will be found online at gaming sites... Since they will be found there, the time is more or less wasted for an effect that would be better spent - fine tuning skills, adding other content of varying types that wont get poo'd on by online gaming site walkthroughs or forums... Giving someone tactics is one thing like how to fight a boss, but the players that get that information still have to execute the kill.... That content is better than a puzzle that will be outdated for everyone everywhere when a single person posts the answer to the puzzle... Then all the time spent on the puzzles of this game will be for nothing.... You don't have to execute puzzles, if you have the answers, you have the answers....

MxO, I never played but and thats the only SOE MMO that I guess I can say - I have never played... Sadly, after looking at video's - It has some good potential if given some resources instead of leaving it sitting without any new content since forever - give that game some of the sigil employee's and push out a expansion. Free Trial too.

It sure did seem like this game had scatterbrain going down, for nearly it's entire development... Wouldn't suprise me at all to have found out brad wasn't there often.

Animations that I have seen do seem lame which may make combat a supreme bore... It mos def needs more grim and gritty.

Another thing that I think might have killed DAoC, was overwhelming amounts of Albs, and seemingly no Hibs.  I personally had 1 toon in Alb (lvl 32), 1 in Mid (lvl 60), and four in Hib (lvls 22, 49, 60, 60).  For me though, being out numbered in PvP was great fun and it pulled me to the Hib side, but i always was irritated at the difficulty to find group in Hib, i always could find one if i really wanted, but i gained an avg of 20 lvls soloing (wth my lvl 60's).  My brother left Hib cause of lack of people, yet hated Alb cause of too many people.  So i think this might be a reason of DAoC's downfall.

One of the things, I loved about being a mid on kay was being outnumbered... Loved rolling with my 8 man and ripping down zergs from albs... Quality players in that game, were awesome... Although Crowd Control was and continues to be completely the most dominating forces in DAOC..

I miss my old school savage.... RIP DAOC.

Upgrading my machine isn't needed...

I can run new games on FULL graphics - LOTRO - C&C3 - another MMO that will be released before too long on very high graphics (sorry... nda... can't say which) there is NO REASON for such crappy performance. They made a VERY poor choice in the engine they picked... the unreal engine is fantastic for fps - but just doesn't cut it for mmorpg technology - VG makes that very clear. (I do some programming myself... so i'm not talking complete BS lol.) My machine is not the issue here.

Can you name any other games that use the unreal engine?  Hmmm...I know one more than one.   It is not the engine perse, it is the optimization of that engine and the number of poly's it is pushing.   Granted Sigil did not really do their homework here, but they are now and I have seen improvement in performance.   So have many, many others.   So unless you actually play the game and have experienced the improvement yourself how can you possibly come on here and say anything?

BTW - the second largest MMORPG Lineage II uses the Unreal Engine - a modified one.   Just like Vanguard.   Now can you name the others?

Lineage 2 came out a good deal of time ago and that means the backbone system that Vanguard decided to use was already dated and known so they should have had a grasp on the systems and programming involved to make a tight code... Instead, the leaders were to scatter brained with Vanguard imo... The art in VSOH is awful, the direction and approach of making characters all look the same with very few deviations in creation.... The models are all too plastic and much less cohesive to the scenery like a forest.... They stick out like sore thumbs....

I pay for a quality product, not for poor ones.

Keep hoping for those updates, you will get all that spiffy content about the time Warhammer or AoC comes out of the gates and tears will run from SoE. Tears are delicious.
I don't have to hope, because were getting the updates.

Yewp, but none of those that I was speaking of the huge naval battles with flying elephants with puffy wings that breed gold for all..
