You now what i agree with you, this game feels like lord of the rings to me. I loved the pvp but that gets older faster than wow's pvp not sure why. I do love the the quest system in this game. And the book of tomb is pretty kool as well. Ah well it might just be me i am not going to put in on my cutting block just yet. Going to give it some more time to see if it can hold me until Aion comes out.

All they did was take the hair from the other races only about 7 new styles lol. For a company that makes all this money they sure don't have the best and brightest working there, and watch the new dances will be done the same way as well. When they went from wow to tbc all the mobs toke steroids. They all got bigger, guess what in  wotlk they got even bigger. So i guess bigger is better LOL. It's the same old thing in a new shell,to get more epics, epics that come so freely now no effort sign up for bg and ping you are on your way to getting your new shinny epics. As for me i don't hate the game i just out grew it.

Guess it is just that FUNCOM is paying so much money to this site at the moment that you can not say anything negative about AOC. Well guess what. I played to 37 and it truely does suck.

 

This site has lost any respect that it used to have years ago when I joined. Now it is no more than a joke and you can not even get an honest game review here any more.

I guess the mighty dollar of the game developers and publishers actually are more important now than the community. This site use to have an awesome community but that has long since gone to the toilet.

 

Time to find a better, more community minded site. Enjoy your stay but I think I will be seing more and more of you somewhere other than here. As for all you game haters, and losers that ruined this site because you know no better than to be led by the hand into a fanboi club, why not go play these games you rave so much about and leave the forums not associated with your game alone.

Help - People are bored there is nothing out there worth playing and the timing was perfect a few months before WAR and Aion.

 

Hindered - Its bug ridden garbage people are seeing that and no matter what enjoyment the game holds very few will stick around with lag and persistant crashes, these are the guys who leave now vowing to return in 6 months time but just never go back.

 

Come Jan next year after War, Aion and the  WOW expansion I seriousley think Conan will have a sub 50k subscription number.

 

I realy do hope the game slide's for the condition it was released in perhaps this will finally send a message to MMO producer's that Joe Public will no longer accept beta retail releases with empty promises and half the box features missing.

Well said guys well said. Will this teach other game companies a leason i hope so, we as the consumer have far more power than any game company out there. And i think it's time we use that power. We must not buy into hype but into facts me included.

The man has a very good point. Why make a game that will run great on pcs 2 to 3 years from now? Even if you have an up to date system you will still have problems running it.

I too like the eye candy this game has to offer, but it comes with a heavy price. I price that most ppl won't pay, especially since times are now. One of the reasons why WOW has so many subs is because that game can run on just about any pc.

Not saying all games should be like that or that you don't need to upgrade your pc just saying when making a game you have to think about the average guy and if he or she can ppl this game on a decent pc, or do they have to get one of nasa's old pcs to run it.

They said end game pvp is going to be kool. They said that you can build player cities.They said you can siege other guild battle keeps. As someone said this company is like a car sales man a use car sales man at that. And now they want you guys to wait for them to get the battle keep crap working right. Lots of talk but no backing.

I know the feeling i am no fanboi but the hype  got to me also it got me good but this time around  i cut my losts fast and moved on. I saw pass the graphics and even those where missing stuff like no splash effects when you jump into the water or no foots steps  when you walk out of water on to land or any foot steps at all boats not moving with water when you swim next to them or just don't move at all. Some of the ppl i met in this game love it but for me i was bored. I never bought a new game and not play it.  I always played for the 30 days free that they give you in every game but this game i couldn't do it. i stopped at 15 days, well 18 cause i had EA that i paid for also 5 bucks lol what a rip.

Yes they lied from the time they said next gen they lied. Graphics doesn't  makes a game next gen.I will give them an A for trying to come out with a new cobat system, but when you use that new combat system you feel like you playing the botton lotto, vangaurd was more next gen  than this game anyway i won't go in to that. But they lied and they knew the beta testers  that broke nda knew it and even the (fanbois knew it they will never admit it thou). I mean holding the damn NDA for so long should have give us all a clue.FUNCOM

Well to each there own. I to am a gamer,and a real person so i guess that makes me a real gamer to lol.

But all games will be somewhat of the same thing over and over in another shell.  They just add new graphics and stuff. But this game cought my eye thou with some of the kool psychics, i saw some screens and i saw a pic of a guy that had one leg on one stair and a leg on another. That's the first time i every seen that in a game most games you just see your toon standing on stairs that look like a ramp, or you have one leg just floating in the air in you angle you toon to the edge of the stairs.

So this game does adds some new stuff to the old same old same old.
