Are we so desperate for a sand box ( non wow ) mmorpg that we are willing to look pass all the sights that showing us that this game is just another DARK AND LIGHT only with a diff title.

The game play video looking like sh!t. We all want great graphic,but we just don't say it because there are tons of great games with old and sux graphic that we not even bother to look at.

The two so call reporters are either blind or they are DARKFALL's  P.R managers.

I had been around for too long to see so much let downs

Dark and light - biggest let down

AOC this game was designed for xbox360 from the start, not for pc.

D&D - need i say more?

Hell gate london. released too early

Tubula Rasa - shutting down :-)

Vanguard - realeased too early also, Could be a nice game, but lacking too too many contents

Warhammer- peer wow clone. down to a single name, haha ( i know warhammer was before wow, but their game is a copy of wow )

So im just going to wait for AION come out and not even look at this game.

does anyone know any east coast dedicated server or any server with a lot of east coast players/guilds? tks

if only there is a game with these features, if only. ONE can only wish !
 

i made 10 characters all classes( yes there only class but i made same class twice to see if i can get pass the bug ) and  deleted 7 of them after reach about level 10 to 15, why? stuck on their destiny quests, why i still have 3, because i can't delete the other 3. the destiny quests are so bugged, stuck in night time, and can't get back into day time at all.

load time is very long sometime the game crash on load screen, so  i have to restart the game, just to have the same thing happen again. everything is instance , just like guild war, get in the thirsty dog inn, load screen, crash, relog back in, inside, talk to the quest npc, get out of the inn, load screen, crash, relog back in , stuck on loading screen. turn off game playing something else, haha.

it doesn't just happen to me alot of the player in the general ( closed beta ) had the same problems, and they are canceling their pre-order left and right.

if u really like the game and it runs fine on your comp, then enjoy the game by yourself, cause alot of us not playing  :-)

AOC's biggest flaw is their combat system, that's right. Their biggest sell point is their combat system, and it had a flaw that it does not work. We all know that sometime in combat and you randomly perform a fatality move ( cut off someone's head. etc... and blood splash all over your screen. we all seen it in their trailers.)

While u perform the fatality move, mobs don't stop, they still attack you, so after you got your of your fatality animation, YOU ARE DEATH.

in PVP when i did a fatality move on another player, i saw his head fall off, and after i got back out of the fatality animation, he already killed me and i'm laying dead.

* game all instanced, and load time is about 5 min, and crash happen every 5 min on the mark.

* most of quest are buged, not working,

* game not ready for launch, it's just like another vanguard to me. i already cancel my pre-orders ( 2 orders )

* don't get me wrong, the concepts of the game are great, but not for another year untill game is playable.

war, you are my last hope, i already cancel 2 pre-orders of aoc. i can't say much except for that aoc is on the same road with vanguard. both great with hype, then sink after rush release, and 2 months after released none playing them.

just got it sunday night 11/11/07, and loving it, i had never pay any attention to this game before but loving it now, hehe

best f2p game in the market atm

all best buy have the pre-order box since 12-05. u have to go to the stores and search yourself cuz i called Best Buy and they told me they don't have it, but the boxes been there since the 5th. GameStop and EB don't even have the eta on the box. don't waste your time with them.

i just got back today and found out the bad news that SOE got their hands on this game. i'm so shock and sad right now. i was looking forward to try out this game craftting system :-(

I vowed that i'll never buy anything ralated with SOE again, not because of the SWG incident ( i left swg when wow came out so i i never played swg - nge ), but I don't like SOE because that i been screwed for my money and let down by SOE too many times.

To fanboiis that still trying to hold on to that 1 last fault hope, wishing that this game will be a great game. STOP LYING TO YOURSELF. we all know that once SOE got their hands on this game, Vanguard is DEAD!

Even IF this's still a great game, but SOE is hated by everyone, noone will buy this game, and you WILL BE PLAYING BY YOURSELF.

ps: MMORPg should just remove this game from this website. It's over!

auction house = end of all crafters = no player economy

and i play crafter class in all the mmo i played. To me SWG pre-cu still had the best craftting system. I was an armorsmith and hoping to be an armorsmith again in vanguard.

i don't think mmorpg are done, there is 1 up coming release that i think worth playing is Vanguard. I'm hoping it's not going to be another big let down like D&L.There are alot of new mmo but most of them SUX. Either the dev don't know what we want or they don't have any budget to make a great mmo.

i just want a mmo that have a skill system, player base economy ( dev control drops, to stop inflation ), a killer craftting system, pvp, player housing/city, just like swg, but there will never be another game like swg, i missed my jedi/armorsmith. And i'm not even a star wars fan, i only watched eps 1,2,3. :-)

they really killed my fav mmorpg. :-( i missed my armorsmith/jedi
