hey dude, WOW is like a 4 yr old game,, and Battlefield 2142 was released almost 2yr ago.. 

I'm glad your video card can even run in low..

AOC is an example for everyone MMO player that dont let those video, graphic to allure you. So dont be disappoint if Warhammer is not WOW killer.

go for LCD..... Make sure buy a good brand, because those cheap LCD's quality is even worst than those old CRT..

remember not all LCD is same quality, what you pay is what you get.

for some reason i probably spend more time in this forum than playing AOC. WHY? I'm still lv15, and the gameplay is boring.

Perhaps this AOC is more like an RPG with limit MMO.

for video card.. get 8800GT..also why you have to spend $250 for the PSU?? do you have to spend that much money?

i think it might over the budget... for $1.2K.. ..what is the benefit for sli? why not just get a 9800GTX rather buy 2 8800GTS.

You cna try Ibuy power, Apevua, cyberpower, alienware (spendy), aeoncraft, digital storm, xtreme gear, or vigor gaming to find a great computer.

Im able to afford this but you can find one for cheaper also. i ordered alot.

That is too expensive.. i dont know what make the difference, but my pc i pay like 1/3 of your price I score 10,000+ 3dmark 2006, and i can play AOC in high quality. Remember guys you dont have to spend alot of money to build a game system.  As along as u got a cpu that is Quad or Duo with 2ghz - 3ghz, or 2gb+++, and a video card atleast 8800GT+ 512mb. Then you can play most of the newest game.

Why have to pay for anti-virus program? I connect thru a router, and i didn't install any antivirus.

If you really need one i recommend AVG (it is FREE)

if you not download anything then u can turn it off to save electricity. Also help prevent your pc to getting alot of dust too.

Dont you realize when you pc is brand NEW it wasn't that noisy but while for 1-2yr it was so loud? have u realize that?

the major reason ppl said i can't find the right mmorpg. Well i think the big reason is there is too many mmorpg out there and so many to choose. So you can;t make the right decision because there is ALWAY another game might better than the one you play..

Remember back in the day in 2000? 2001? 2002? 2003? when there is no F2P (Free to play) you probably might enjoy most of those game.

i have 8600GT(256mb) and 8800GT(512mb).. the big difference is ..

8800GT can play in high setting in 1680*1050 and was so smooth.. with but wtih the 8600Gt(256mb) it was take twice time to load the game, and graphic is not smooth. so get the 8800gt make sure 512mb, czu 256mb is not for gaming. (especially if u have a 20inch or bigger screen.

So I think you need a new motherboard, PSU. My suggestion if you don't know how to build one, then go buy a Barebone that have (case/motherboard/cpu/psu) and you just plug in the ram + video card + harddrive and of course instal Vista($99 oem)

Tell us your first mmorpg experience, or does you even know mmorpg mean at that time. When you start it and why you quit it. Is there any interest in the game, that make you keep playing..

My first mmorpg is Lineage 1, back in Nov 1999, That game is so addictive. I play like 40+ a week, or more. The game is in 2d, (similar like Diablo2 style). But the difference it have like mostly one time is 1200+ player on at same time. This game is about grinding, hunting boss, Pk, siege.

This game is not about level, it all about the gears. Also lv up is time consuming, each lv take a while to lv up. Also hunting boss is big challenge because you have to find the boss (spawn every 1-2hr, big reward  or sometime no reward for boss) also other ppl might pk you.

You can join a guild( only Prince/Princess class can form guild) Knight, Elf, Mage can join. If you a castle owner you can tax the town(which ppl pay extra for heal potion, etc) Every 2-3 day there is a seige and you have to get alliance to help. To win the siege a prince/princess must pass 2 door to the throne (not easy). The front gate will have ppl standing there to block ppl to enter. It is so fun,,,

The down fall of Lineage, i grief over the game because it is all about luck. When you hunt alot of boss it alway give you crap, try to upgrade a +4 item to +5 it failed( it mean your item gone forever)  There goes like 3hr gaming time.. average i make 50k per hour with hunting it is so boring..

 I quited the game in 2002 almost like 3yr.. But the game is getting not fun because of so many restriction on PK, swearing, too much update make the game item suck. Mage's magic book suppose so expensive but with update they make everyone can afford one, so everyone is common..

 *** Update ** Most regret thing is I never get a real castle siege, because at that time i got a crappy PC. I was using a AMD, cpu 300mhz, But i quit it after 2002 (omg i can't recall it!!)
