8600GT VS 8800GT = 8800GT beat 8600GT in 3 times more power.. 8600GT only have 32 Stream processor 8800GT have 112 Stream processors. That really matter

8600Gt is for games that make from yesterday, or some for today but with low setting. While 8800Gt can play all yesterday game and today's game with Medium to High setting..even future game like 1-2yr of course with low - medium setting)

I bought a 8600GT 256mb for $50(after rebate i got my $30rebate) czu the price is cheap and i only play CS:S.

Anyway i ordered a 8800GT on last night..

i didnt play WOW back in 2004, i was a mmorpg addict to Lineage 1. Also i dont like the game when it released for many year.. not beczu it is not good, just i dont like to play old game lol..

Perhaps i look forward for WAR (but not until September which is not a good time for me)

The Op refer this game if this can be the WOW killer but he said it could be GW or EVE sub.

At first i thought it is the WOW killer (i never play WOW b4) but after hearing alot of ppl complaining about the instance then from that point i think it can't be success as WOW.

this is apply to me. no matter how good the graphic/gameplay/sound/storyline.. if it is not like a real MMORPG... then i would no want to play..

I'm a big fans of Lineage 1 or 2.. (u might laugh old school) But that is real hardcore mmorpg that u see your enemy, i hate instance.. map that make it more like a solo mmorpg..

BTW my collector edition is arrive on friday )i might have to sell to EBAY.. (not worth $90)

i hope this gank thing is not apply to PVP server.. i mean this is mature game. I dont mind how cheap ppl play.. czu it is part of the game..

omg my AOC CE is probably arrive by this May 22.. i'm little afraid to open it and found it this game is not my type.

Should i sell my AOC CE in ebay( make some profit) then buy the Standard edition.

I dont like Guild war, 2moons, type of games.. so if this similar like those game i might not play it.. at all..

i think WOW is the best mmorpg not to mention it get all the great idea from all mmorpg at that time.

So other company see WOW so successful then they will make some similar game.. isn't there alot of industry do the same thing? There is vast of consumer out there..

Total.. ==== $770 that is not bad..

I thinking to upgrade to 8800GT.. (at first i plan to just play CS:S. i didnt realize this game until last 2 week) .

Of course those deal have been over since last month.. i will post it if dell have such deal.

I think my Inspiron 530 can run it..

well why would funcom have to refund your money when your laptop doesn't meet the requirement? 

I think your laptop is using 1gb ram? Celeron? intergrate onboard video card.

There is good thing about this game. This game is Free to pay.. is so different compare to other Free to play game. WHY? well in this game you acutally dont really need to spend any real $ for ingame item.. Because the  CASH item suck.. they only sell game custom dress, make you look good but doesn't add any bonus, Or a mount (but it just look cool & many place is restrict it)  For crafting they sell some scroll make you get like 25% for success on item. Or a bag make you carry more inventory, but not necessary need it.

The bad thing about this game is there is so many botter, goldseller spammer (in town). Although Acclaim trying to find a cure to make this game spam-free but spammer alway find a way . 

If this game didn't have those botter, this might be the best Free to Play game.

i still hesitate on deciding which one to get because it is tough decision. The difference is like $30 for the collector edition and you get fancy metal box, leathermap, ingame ring, cup.. soundtrack cd.. etc.

The important thing is... i never play this game, and i can't judge it by those video in youtube. I'm personally are little picky on choosing mmorpg. If i bought this game and i dont like it.. then i wont play it.. then there goes my $50 or $80 collector's edition.

mmorpg = 99% grinding no question about that..

After you reach lv60+ u can party in Crespo dungeon which u will get like 7-8% at your lv.. in just like 15min+..

What you expect? the lv150 is just a cap for it.. and most ppl in the server is under lv100.

There are quests but there the usual "go kill 10 generic meat bags" and good luck on finding the quest givers seeing theres no actual help in seeking them out. Every game have their own style, developer can't satisfied for everyone, when everybody have their own kind of MMORPG in their mind. You can't say i want a game that have the WOW type with some little bit of that & that..

this game is more like a SOLO grindfest, although you can party but ppl just too lazy to pick up item. Other then that i can't find how party make the game good.

I quit after reach lv32 and it is boring like hell.

FYI, I've tried 9Dragons, it's just so funny the way they attack the mobs, almost like cannot "feel" when it's actually hit the mobs, the animations just too stiff IMO, and Dekaron's graphics is way better than 9Dragons, so I just gave up 9Dragons. Just my opinions, hey no offence there... :P
