Again it was honestly nothing inappropriate that was posted by anybody. No X-rated porn etc....nothing any worse than you can see in an underware commercial or advertisement in a typical magazine.  Some of the pictures with accompanying comments embedded in photos boardered on the side of more adult themed humor. But no more than you would find in an episode from South Park, Simpsons, or Family Guy.

And this thread was not in any game related forum....Was located in a subforum..and the thread was a server related thread. Just some folks from one server messing around posting junk to keep the thread competitive with another thread (you know who you are). But nothing that really truly crossed the line. Nothing truly classified as ADULT material was submitted on my part. INFERRED....maybe but nothing any more than the toon shows listed above. Just adding posts, trolling, until the various groups (Precu.Cu,NGE) could get to know each other enough to actually have something worthwhile to talk about.

My last few posts discussed Hockey(NHL), a website I found offering webcast Games, then a few more posts with someone else who happened to go to the same college I had attended.

Basically I saw the thread as a breaking the ice with people whom I may play with again.

The CRACKDOWN and DELETING whole thread was UNCALLED for. Delete the "FEW" posts considered too much and give a warning to offending posters. That would be more FAIR for all concerned. And if a banning for further infractions were Justified than so be it.

I come from a game that is far more leniant "TO AN Extent" on postings so maybe I may be overzealous in my postings but I will respond better to an explanation/warning than a Crackdown. Especially when it destroys so many others work/postings..........

Well that didn't take long lol . All I posted were a few pictures of scantily clad women. Nothing X rated or too revealing. Guess they hired SWGmod001 to patrol their forums. Oh well Bastages.

Sorry guys on Tarquinas for getting Epic thread deleted. But again nothing I posted was any worse that what you can find on nearly any other Forum.  And from what I'm told I'm not only one Banned nor was I the worst offender. They just decided to zap the ones posting HAWT women lolz.

Wait til they get a load of me with some new accounts with different IPs

I thougth the US economy was so great that people did not even notice the "bad times".

yes i'm sure that quote comes from upper 10% until recent crisis......Most of the rest of us have seen this coming from the industry side of things as the many "blue collar" job losses as of late.

If you're able the vote is at 12:30pm EST  TODAY.

I'm very nervous on today's outcome. Is HoR gonna pass or Fail this bill?

Vote NO

Sitting here this morning waiting nervously on the House Vote. So who else is watching CSPAN?

We need a new plan put forth. One with some new stiffer regulations. The world is heading into a recession there is no stopping this. The spark (the USA mortgage crisis) has already set off the powderkeg (Wallstreet and it's web of connections to the World's markets). Some are more insulated than others (a few Asian markets come to mind) but all will feel this effect.

Now is the time to restore regulation to the market. Return the stop gaps that were put into place after "The Great Depression" removed in recent years (past 30 yrs).  A George Carlin video comes to mind expressing his thoughts on the education system here in America. New regulations that address the new complexity of "Modern Markets".

voting on something else need to pay more attention :)

Take the plan I just pasted up there.  We're looking at 50-70 billion dollars.  Not 700 billion... if that plan DIDN'T work we're still at a FRACTION of the cost of the original plan --- and we could then go ahead with the other plan.

700 billion is NOT a quick fix... its just not knowing what else to do and pushing the problems to the future.

This bill is not a fix at all. Consider it a tourniquet to try and stop the bleeding.

The only thing it fixes it freeing up credit so companies can continue to operate. 50-70 billion is not nearly enough to give confidence to lenders. Not by a long shot. Not to mention, if administered by the method you listed, it would take far too long to reach it's maximum potential.

The only thing we need to be worried about today is keeping businesses open. The mortgage crisis will still be an opportunity for tomorrow. I agree there are other avenues to pursue, but time is a commodity in short supply. Things really are going to get bad very quickly if the credit crunch doesn't ease up soon. That is what this initial $250 billion is designed to do, buy us more time to consider the next step.

September 29th, 2008

7:30 AM Wachovia taken over by Citibank in an "assisted" transaction with the "help" of the FDIC. Stock falls to under a buck premarket.

Roll call vote scheduled for today in the House on the "Scam Of The Century" $700 billion Bailout Bill.

7:30 AM Fax at http://www.denninger.net/letters/angryvoter.pdf available for voters to send.

7:45 AM Libor rises to 3.88%, contrary to Treasury's claim that it would fall due to "stabilization" of the markets with the "agreement" on its bill. "Tensions remain elevated and liquidity is drying up.... Confidence has not been restored yet and that's a prerequisite before rates come down."

9:27 AM TED Spread at 3.49, widening from 3.14 (you predicted it would go DOWN Hanky and Ben.... what happened?)

9:58 AM Credit markets continue to tighten despite assurances the bill has plenty of votes to pass - bluntly, the claims of "liquidity" solving the problem it is not working, despite infusion of $630 billion in central bank liquidity this morning.

1:09 PM BILL FAILS! (Roll call vote)

1:12 PM CONGRESS - READ THIS THEN PULL IN OTHER EXPERTS AND HAVE AN HONEST DEBATE.

3:00 PM DOW Jones closes down 777, but approximately 40% of the losses were taken before the vote was called. CNBC stating on-air that those opposed to the bailout are "Tim McVeighs" and hoping for a circuit-breaker crash to put pressure on Congress (!)

As of this evening:

The dollar is stronger. Gee, go figure - we protected the currency by not pissing $700 billion into a hurricane.
The market did NOT melt. Under 10%? Yes, its a big move. Now go see 1987 or 1929. We are still well above (too high) earnings estimates in terms of P/E ratios.
The $700 bailout was proven ineffective. Bernanke stuffed $630 billion into the system and it did not normalize the credit system - spreads widened anyway. The evidence is right in front of you. Oh, where did he get that $630 billion anyway? Don't bother the man behind that curtain!

Oh Really.......Above states 630 Billion didn't free up the credit market. The proposed 700billion would have effectively been flushed down the Toilet. Further devaluing the dollar fixes NOTHING.

SEC. 112. COORDINATION WITH FOREIGN AUTHORITIES AND CENTRAL BANKS.

The Secretary shall coordinate, as appropriate, with foreign financial authorities and central banks to work toward the establishment of similar programs by such authorities and central banks. To the extent that such foreign financial authorities or banks hold troubled assets as a result of extending financing to financial institutions that have failed or defaulted on such financing, such troubled assets qualify for purchase under section 101.

This is sad news indeed. I never personally harbored any ill feelings toward Mr. Freeman and have great sympathy for his family. I have passed this story along to other communities containing ex SWG players and hope others have done the same.

If this is a HOAX...great shame on those that created it.

God Bless and RIP Jeff Freeman

Thank you to those that have posted. Point 1 it's not my video. Just something I stumbled across while looking at videos from WWIIOL (a game I've played since 2005). Point 2 this video was made a few yrs before I started playing and they never got around to making  "The Allies Strike Back" or I would have posted it as well.

But I thought it could be appreciated by Star Wars fans as it was made by SW fans.

Count this as a VICTORY to the taxpayer. There is no need to throw more taxpayer money down the drain. As stated in another thread the FED tossed out 620 Billion of its own money after the bill failed and this still didn't FIX the problem. Saved the Taxpayer 700 Billion of our money.

Watch this for a closer look at yesterday.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGpS2qsh_5A

here is a list of the votes yea and nay to this bill. I myself will be voting for all my representatives as they all voted NO.

http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll674.xml

And here is a website that I have been following closely for past couple of weeks since this "Crisis" began. There is alot of good information IMHO here.

http://www.fedupusa.org/

Please watch all the videos here. So far I agree with nearly everything this man has been saying all along. It has alot of information about the ongoing situation on Wallstreet and offers one set of solutions. He also cites other economists and their ideas that you can lookup aswell.

Take a few minutes of your time to get informed. There is no harm in looking into this and making your own opinions on how to proceed. If not at the website I listed then find another but get involved. All our futures are at stake here. Call your representatives and let them know how you feel one way or another.

I myself am completely against this proposed Bailout solution. I agree with the suggestions of the above mentioned website and going from there. But I will not willingly agree to throw 700 Billion in taxdollars in the garbage.

I guess I'm gonna have to post these videos in the good ole Vet Refuge as they reference SOE a few times and would surely be deleted in the General forum. But be sure to check out the vid I posted in that forum     http://www.mmorpg.com/discussion2.cfm/thread/204567

Anyway I hope all of you enjoy these videos as much as I have.......

Teh New Dope    http://willyteescomics.wwiionlinenews.com/content/view/38/37/

Teh Empire Likes Rack      http://willyteescomics.wwiionlinenews.com/content/view/39/37/

Fanbois most of us have "Moved On". We just like to come back an occasionally jab a stick in the eye of SOE nothing personal to you lol.

EDIT... These two cartoons aren't  Anti SOE so to speak and are a bit CHEESY but are enjoyable for what they are. I just thought I would share some SW  cartoons made by Willytee.  He is a player in WWIIOL and includes other players (Blue Names above heads) in his various toons poking fun at various movies/themes. At his website you can watch other movies/cartoons poking fun at the playerbase/WWIIOL and other themes. I presented these two cartoons as they are Starwars based and thought  that other Star Wars fans could enjoy them for what they are. Only posted in Vet forums as they depict SOE as evil as most of us here agree they are. ENJOY
