There was an official CCP e-mail floating around flaunting the new expansion by giving existing account players 14 free days for reactivation. I didn't recieve this e-mail in any of my accounts, and as far as I'm concerned it's attached with a unique key. I'm curious if anyone can sent me the url sent in that e-mail if they don't plan on using it. I sent a petition about how I didn't recieve one, but the petition has been going on for days now. =\

Any insight would be great-- thanks!

It's not out yet! There are people who got into Early Acess which lasts until the 20th. Everyone else in the US plays on the 20th, and then everyone else in EU plays on the 23rd. Hope to see you in Hyboria! :-)

Depends where you are. US -> 20th, EU -> 23rd. Don't be frightened by the date and don't think you purchased the wrong copy (I thought I purchased an EU copy!). It says this for -all- versions and I actually ticketed a GM about it because it frightened me. :-(

Big thanks for letting us know about the specs of your gaming rig + using XP. Yours is just about the exact same setup as mine and I'm happy to see that I'll be running it on high. :-)

From my understanding it's completely EA only and whoever, preordered or not, tries to make an account you cannot get in. I'm a preorder and I can't get my little fingers into that forum no matter what I try!

If you want to talk about rare, lets talk about the Rhino. Best Buy kind of made a mistake, and the Rhino will be the rarest mount of the three. You'll see an abundance of Mammoths in the first month-- most people playing now has them.

People that ordered from Gamestop have their retail keys. Oddly enough, mine came in the mail 2 days ago!

It has been a full night since EA, and I know that there are people out there pulling those all nighters to top off the levels to their mammoth and rhino preorder. =) I was curious how the pace of leveling is going? What is the highest level you've seen romping and stomping around?

The Maximum Attack event from Phantasy Star Online and Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst is back and will be coming to the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system, PC, and PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system servers on April 25! In order to participate in this event, you must have the Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminus expansion.

Data uncovered on the mystery planet Rykros is encrypted within a battle simulation of unknown origin. The GUARDIANS have been tasked to enter the virtual world contained in this ancient artifact to combat swarms of creatures and unlock the data. The forest, caves, and mine stages from PSO are back, and you might just run into some familiar heroes.

We will be keeping track of the total number of creatures each GUARDIAN helps defeat, and limited prizes can be acquired through luck, speed, or perseverance. Everyone will have to work together to reach the 100 million creature goal, and other rewards for all participating players will be unlocked throughout the event.

Actually, the great thing is the fact you -don't- need a keycode to play this game. So get some friends together, buy one game, and then let all your friends install it! Your friends will only have to pay 9.99 for 45 days!

Just remember to make your friends pitch in when buying the game.

You kind of described WoW there, however I'll take a sec. to fill you in about L2. =)

L2 is a very 'hardcore' game-- it isn't for the casual heart at all. It's extremely grindy, and takes months to reach the cap of level 78, I believe. However, getting to that point is very rewarding. The PvP is intense and there's a % exp loss with each death in PvP and sometimes on higher circumstances an item drop. There's also castle sieges where guilds can own castles for a period of time until another guild tries to take it back (these are scheduled events). There is also (BRAND NEW) new sieges that take place 24 hours a day where guilds try to guard and hold certain points on the map. It's a very rewarding game-- but it takes TIME to get to that point. If this interests you, don't be afraid to pick up a box. It's pretty cheap and you also get your month free.
