How does server not being able to handle a certain number of players give you bad fps? Thought there was a difference between FPS lag and latency lag...

I thought that's what he was referring to, but I guess like the first two weeks of May could see a stress test deal with FilePlanet. No worries here, since I am a subscriber.

Gaute made it seem like there won't be an open beta, they will just accept more of the applications - "around 35000" total.

This is kind of disappointing. What about stress testing? Surely they need to do that, and I doubt all of the projected 35000 closed testers will be online at once and there will be way more people who purchase and play the game.

That video was actually the third part. I couldn't get one of the parts to play for some reason. But there are links to the other two parts on the original link posted.

Who cares about raiding? You have 80 levels to do other shit and theres 12 classes to play. Raiding isn't mandatory...just play the game.

Well hopefully they can finish up adding content into the game and fixing all the bugs. I head that Mid to Late game stuff wasn't really that well developed (past level 20 pretty much). I think the game engine is coming along nicely as well as other parts of the game (sound, etc.) but there is not enough content in the game. Those beta-testing NDA violators were right, a lot of stuff isn't even in the game yet!

Maybe FC should hire more developers

Nice. It goes through a lot of the different features that AoC will offer. The website looks nice overall. They have removed the information about the Races and Classes though.

My tabs go crazy too, select the tab you want then minimize and it will be fine.

Censorship sucks. As everyone said, we get to see ultraviolence but not nudity/sex. With the Mature rating, we will probably see a boob or so.
