Even though I disagree with most of your post, I respect your opinion.   Unfortunately, you didn't make it through the healers weak beginning.  The priest classes, well, the priest of mitra and tempest of set anyway, are the most powerful classes in AoC endgame.  After lvl 60 they just become so uber they can AoE grind mobs of 8-10 creatures up to 15 levels higher than them.  It's really quite ridiculous.

Of course there is no satisfaction for you at 80.  You exploited it.

I have had absolutely no problems with AoC besides an occasional sound loop while loading into field of the dead but I know a few people who have problems running the game.  99% of those people either didn't read the minimum system requirements or read them knowing they didn't pass and bought the game anyway.  Try putting your shaders on 2.0.

Hmmm... I wonder how many of you cried when Funcom repeatedly pushed back it's release date and now are crying because the game isn't perfect.  Not a single mmo is perfect when released.  I for one am having a blast.

Spellweaving is not only possible, I have seen it done.  Yesterday in fact.  All AoC mage classes can spellweave, but not until level 50.  Tempest of Set is temporarily disabled because it tends to crash and entire zone.

There is a ton of lvl 80 instance on the world map.  I'm not sure if any are raid or not.  Plus a lot of endgame content will be player city pvp.

This is definately one of the best launches ever.  I've spent an addictive amount of time playing this weekend without a single crash on high.  Granted dx10 isn't up and running yet, and I've heard they are delaying the release of a dx10 version but everything else has been very smooth.  As far as content after 20 I've found plenty of quests to do.  After lvl 30 quests thin a little and it requires you to travel to the three different areas for 34-36 quests but it gets you familiar with the world.  As soon as the servers come back up you can bet my lvl 36 guardian is going to storm the ancient pyramid in stygia!

I find it amazing that you all know anything about AoC, since no one has played the release version yet.  I was there for Vanguard.  AoC does not even compare.  I've had no problems in the older version of AoC besides the occasional memory leak.  I think that AoC will do well.  I'm not really interested in War, but that doesn't mean I want it to fail, I just prefer AoC.  I think you all just love to hate.

Using any breakthrough technology can be frustrating, but seeing the Witcher in Dx10 for me was worth it.  I'm extremely excited to see Age of Conan.  Even though I had some issues at release, I've finally got a system that rarely crashes.

I'm using Vista 64-bit Ulitimate with Nvidia's 8800 GTX and an AMD x2 and haven't had any issues in months.  Upgrading to Vista was worth it in my opinion for Dx10 alone.  If you had researched what you were purchasing you would have realized that SLi has major issues.  Also, since the market is in a period of transition with most consumers still using XP software, most of the games that are being released are not utilizing the full potential of your hardware.  There are very few games that utilize a dual core processor and none that I know of that utilize a quad core processor.  It will take years before the new technology becomes reliable.

For those that want an opinion about upgrading to Vista, I recommend it.  All the problems that I have had have been strictly driver based (Nvidia) and Microsoft has not been at fault.  There were some issues with Microsoft, but once you update with the necessary hotfixes and updates, very rarely will you experience any problems.

Stay away from brand name computers!  You can find the top of the line parts yourself for extreme discounts and even if you can't put it together yourself it is far cheaper to pay someone to put it together for you than to buy from Dell or HP especially for the gaming PC's.  True you don't get customer service for the hardware, but Microsoft has always been helpful with whatever problem I have on my machine and they all speak ENGLISH!  Sony only allows calls while under warranty.  After that they charge you $30 through an automated system before you can even speak with a representative.  Building your own PC can save you thousands
