No.. I was just throwing out some example of different groups that fought at one point or another and that its usually the ones that do the attacking that end up falling short for whatever reason. The dinosaur thing was very silly I admit, but it got the point across in that dinosaurs are now extinct and humans are the dominant species.

Religion as someone said is definitely still around, however I do not think I am being extreme to suggest that people put more stock in science on average than religion. How many believe in creationism vrs evolution for example? Religion said world was flat, science said it was round, etc etc.

Agreed. I'm chomping at the bit for WAR. Whatever argument the poster was trying to make with that post about Adam vs. Eve and Autobots vs. Decepticons just wasn't very clear and I was trying to get to the root of it. Something doesn't need to be an offical document or a doctoral thesis to make a clear, concise argument. The peeps who try to put down WAR because they are AoC fans aren't gonna make their game any better by doing so, and vice versa. Just like science doesn't invalidate the core philosophies of religion or vice versa. It's all good.

LCD only works for a few games that should be displayed by the software they supply with the keyboard, otherwise you'll just see things like FPS.

Ahh thank you. I am just now learning about how to set things up with this keyboard, just came in about a day ago. I see there is many things you can do with it like see in game stats, or see chat. Just trying to figure all that out! Thanks again for your help!

Hello there, it isn't often I make a thread so here it goes. I was wondering if there is a list anywhere out there on the net, I seem to not be able to locate, that has a list of MMORPGs that are compatible with the Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard? Not so much the whole macro thing, but do they have features of the game that work on the LCD screen?

My next question is Acer a good and reliable brand for MMORPG gaming monitors? I have been looking at them for about a week and a half now and can not seem to make up my mind on if the Acer is worth is because the price for them is lower than most others of the same size, namely the 24 and 26 inch monitors. Any help is appreciated, and I thank you in advance!

so why intervened in my post vs tachyon , a pain in the ass that just keep trolling and flamming a game he knows next to nothing about. I've then said what my experience playing it was and showed with aoc as an exemple that going for a next-gen title is much more risky as if one of your new mechanic don't function well , it ruins it all. where going for an evolution of existing and proved working mechanic is safer and a path I prefer for a MMO i do not want to fail. i don't see any trolling on my part.

You could have just reported his message for trolling. The only "trolling" you may have shown was when you claimed I flat out concur with idiotic posts my guild leader makes. If you look, I do not take part in most of any of my guild members threads. Not because I disagree with them, or agree with them, but if I disagree with something they say, it may cause guild friction, and if I agree with anything they say, I get accused of being a follower. So in War, AoC and any fantasy game I want to feel like I can grab a club off the ground and still belt a higher level player into next week even if they are using the best weapon in the game. 

That is why there is so much griefing going on.  Everybody picks on players 5-10 levels lower than them so almost every fight lasts 10 seconds with 1 player being wiped out and normally for no reward.

Eve and Jumpgate are two games that really had heart pumping battles that could go either way. 

I think you will be pleased to hear I believe both games are gunning for this. WAR is said to be less gear centric, and AoC is claiming the same thing.

Unfortunately, no game has an ever changing filter. So while some styles of names may be banned at launch, people will find ways around this, and new internet fads come and go and just add to the amount of idiotic names you may see.

Well, if you believe this to be true, there is two ways to look at it:

1) "OMG THIS GAME SUCKS WE ARE ALWAYS OUTNUMBERED AND WE CAN'T WIN" - The Sissy Way

2) "Stop your whining! We just have more targets to aim at than they do!" - The Correct Way

At the same time that is part of the charm for Warhammer Online. You can just jump right in and start fighting right out of the gate. The learning curve is minimal because it has been done before in previous games, so right off the bat you can start working on your ToK, which is a feature I just love in this game.

Like I said, when people want real information about a game they go to warhammeralliance or ageofconan.com . I defend WAR on the AoC boards, and I have defended WAR on these boards in many threads, such as the whole graphics issue, other similarities to WoW, trusting mythic, I really don't think I need to continue on how many times I have defended this game. Look at how many threads I haven't jumped in on when it comes to AoC. I don't participate in every single bash the other game thread, sorry. You obviously don't do your research though otherwise you would know this.

Please, somebody explain to me how Age of Conan or Warhammer is next gen? Neither are, there are no "next-gen" mmorpgs coming out anytime soon, unfortunately.

Under that notion though, you make it sound like you would believe that WAR doesn't have playable raids or any end game pvp content such as taking over somebody elses territory.

If you want negatives about AoC I can give you many, but for the most part I voice my concerns about that game on the official forums, where it will be heard. Posting anything positive or negative here about AoC will do nothing. If you have a real concern for the game, you would post it at ageofconan.com or warhammeralliance.com. Not here, because the developers do not show up here often.
