Game industry is already a joke. Only bad games come out cause of money killing creativity. This is a sad new for he gaming world, for AoC but most of all, for us gamers. I hate busness.  Now AoC can say byebye to my suscribtion. And I'm going to change my ype lvl from 10 to 1.

European only?!??!! What the hell is that?!

I did beta a lot of games that I had high expectations for, and it was always disapointing. And after I re-tried the games sometime after lauch, I enjoy em way much more. Just to say that bugs can kill your appreciation of a game. So when I aply for a beta now, I am ready to do what beta is for; test bugs in horrible gameplay sessions. So to anwsers your question, yes I still wanna beta WAR. Not cause I wanna play it, cause it won't proabably fun until lauch, but because I want my opinion to play a role in the devveloppement of this game. Cause if  WAR doesn't become great(to my own eyes), I'll be sad and without any MMOs to play.

Oh, and just to say that MMOs becomes polish enough to be call done at least 6 motnh POST release.

LOTR is deffenetely THE PvE MMO right now. But if you like RvR and PvP, go for wow(on a RPPvP server). They are both very good games, but WoW PvE is just a Grind, and LOTR lack a good PvP system.

I remember from 2 video podcast(no, I'm not gonna search them and link em here), that Paul said they where gonna dye if the game wasn't release early 08.
Of course I knew he would suffer from it, cause this is the ways of MMOs. Delay delay delay. Execpt for LOTRO who meets his release date and had a pretty good game at lauch.

I do beleive that a summer release is probable for WAR. But a 09 push but is as much probable.

It's certainly the best PvE MMO, without any doubt. But PvE has it's limit, I would have loved to see some RvR in this game. Why can't we play goblins?!

naaa, that can't be true. I don't belive this.

FC made an official annoncement about the beta in december and they said there is more than 10 000 in beta right now. But I lot have doubts. But why would they lie?

To me Darkfall is the dream MMO on paper. But will it work? Will it be fun? Hope so. This is a bit like DnD VS Gurps. DnD works well, but yiu have to accept  his boundary.

AoC will work. But to me it comes to 2 things. Combat and the Mature world. Wich are 2 greta addition to the MMO formula they choose to follow. But is it enough? Will it make us player stay with em for a long time? But I must admit that I am veri enthousiast with their combat system, can't wait tp try that.

DF deffenetely could bring us a TRUE MMO experience. But AoC promise a hell of fun.

This game can't fail to be great. Let's just hope adventurine won't fall. But if it's gouvernement fund, it's probably a god news, so they can keep making the right choices. Wich no company was able to do.

This company isn't doing anything like regular company. They won't give an approxiamtive date, just to get some hype. Cause they know this would interfere with want they want; create a great game. I know that MMO aee always delayed multiple times, and Darkfall isb't in beta yet, but here again, you just can't tell, cause they might realy lauch the beat with a nearly complete game. Hell it could lauch in mars! But it couls also lauch in 2010. But I will lauch.

My point is, we just can't use our past experience with game lauch for Darkfall, this game is just too different. If it turns ot well, this game could be groundbreaking(in terms of quality).

You got your key????? LUCKY! I did get the sword and comic but no key yet, and all they tell me is to wait and a bunch of other bullsh*t. I e-mail them every few months and they just tell me to wait. Well looks like my "guaranteed spot" will actually just be an open beta key.

Maybe your key got lost, I mean, the winners should have got their key at the same time no?
Anyways, Happy to see that ppl are participating in my petition!

An AoC beta key Christmas giveaway thing would be awesome, I wouldn't mind my chances of getting into beta being risen for a small amount of time.

haha! That's one good attitude! Same for me!

I belive that we will have a beter idea on that in January. If the beta open up to a lots, we will know release is coming. But if there is another delay it will be pretty short I belive. Either way, what truly matter is that we have concrete signs that the game is getter better and better. And they send more beta invite every months.

So, who wants to see another big AoC Christmas givaway? There was a cool PC last year with powerhouse enough to run AoC. It's this last year contest that made me know of MMORPG.com.

Last year there was a Huge contest here on MMORPG.COM with lots of goody and 250 beta keys and these (lucky) are probably playing the game right now.  Would be awesome to have another one this year with even more beta keys. This is an official community request! /sign

By Crom I hope so, I just can't wait. It's seem lik an eternity... I have been waiting for AoC since Oct last year, and it was always like a couple of months close. Now it seems to be true. I hope I'll be testing it before 08 ;)
