MMO or not, I could find any info on this. Suscribtion base? Is there a monthly fee? Do you play via a server? Or is it only a single player game, with a Multiplayer option? Clarification needed

I have to say that you are ABSOLUTELY right!  Hell of a mess! But God we love MMOs!

The las t time they delayed it I was so angry, now the only thing I can say is, HELL!

Plus, it now makes it a 1 year and a half delay.

So when will the 360 version will come out? After the new xbox will be release?

In a period of approx 3 motnh or less, there will be a WoW Wrath of the lich king, a WAR and a AOC release. Wich is not good for FunCom cause they are surely gonna loose this fight, both WoW and WAR are most anticipated for sure.

I'm gonna play it anyway, hell, it's so good.

Yeah, we are all glad that it surprisingly wasn't delay more. But it's not open beta yet, just close beta.

I don't see how this can be a cheap shot. It's not even negative, hell. Plus, it's so clear;y obvious that WAR is gonna have a huge WOW feel. Plus, Mythis didn't revolutionize anything, of course they put in some new ideas, like public quest wich seems very promising, but in term of gameplay, it's WoW.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE WAR, I can't wait to try it, it's gonna be soo well done. But it's true what that guy said, true and obvious.  Anyways these game aren't even in copetition nor in the same lauch window. The 2 games are so different.

For sure I'd love to get an invite right now, but I'm not that sad cause I know I ain't missing much right now. I'v been in early beta before and I know it can be quite painful. Though I'm ready for that, if not I wouldn't have sign-in, it's far from playing a finish product right now. Probably not much to do exect being buged all the time, that's what early beta is about!

it's still at the top because right now it's the best MMO. It doesn't mean it's great. It's true that it's a good game, sill with a lot's of flaw. Like the same old and proven to be not good enough combat system. And I can't call a MMO great when it still have those scroll text quest box. I can't see them anymore, I got like barf!! The GREAT ones are coming, and if you are lucky, you can be in beta this very summer.

It"s hard to have any constructive discusion or critisism over this game due to the amount of fanboy ready to die for this game that are waiting here, for the next info. I totally agree with you. Right now it looks very ugly  in trems of animation(From may 5 2007 Toronto gamesday con). And it's a shame cause the grphik looks very nice and this game has a LOT of good ideas. But they better come up with nice and chilling combat animation cause they have Auto-aim and Auto-attack wich can make combat very boring. Let's hope this doesn't ruin the game as you say.

OK, I'm very interested in this game but I haven't follow it like a geek. SO i don't know every bit of info they let out. With the beta sign-up, I belive it's the time for a lot of us to get a recapitulation, so this is for your expert, awnsers thy questions!

1. Regarding combat, will there be an Auto-attack? Auto-Aim? What type of skills leveling system do they use? What can we expect from combat?

2. The look of our avatar. Is it more realistic or cartoonish style? How customizable are our armors and weapons? What special features will we have acces to to make our avatar realy unique?

3. Items. Is it item centric or not?

4. Classes. How many class? And more importantly how versatile? Is it the old class role concept again?

5. RPG. Is it story driven or is it only a social environement with infite grind like most MMO to date? Or will we at last get some story involment and exitement questing?

These are the main questions I have, feell free to add more questions regarding new features and new ideas that this game can bring to us and to the genre.

Yeah, I don't belive it's gonna be Q1, more like Q2 oe even Q3. They need a good six month of beta, the get the best game at lauch cause this is gonna be critical. A lot of people see this game as the WoW succesor, and if they fail at lauch, there is no path that could repair the dammage. So 6 months of beta. Right now there is a lot of promises but we didn't see much. So I guess there is still a LOT of devvelopping 2 do before they can deliver the said promises.  

One thing I hate about what I saw is the art of the game. We all know Warhammer and it's races to be very charicatural and that's the way we love em. Like the dwarf fighting with a nude torso full of tattoos and it's red mohawk.  THATS the dwarf I wanna see. Not the mix Lotr WoW dwraf they show us on the official website. They really need to redo all the Art. So it's not gonna come out before 3 or 4 years again,sorry guys.

I surely feel like. It's a shame that money restain that genre, cause we know that's the source of our problems. High money to develop, high money to make. A shame. thsi genre got me back to videogames.  After having play Resident evil and Silent hill(the first one) when I was young, no game was very satifying so I quit. When I heard of MMO and their persistent world I was amaze. I was like, this is it, virtual realyty is comming, the possibilitys are endless, this will be crazy!!!!   But what I discover was more like, a boring festival of grind and a constipated buisness.  What about mist online? is it good?     I prefer to ply real life tabletop RPG, they are much more imersive.

Honestly, I don't know why they always have security codes but it's a very bad tendancy. It's never working and a real paine.

We could use some more vids because it's a great game and we just can't get enough, but man, there is a LOTS of info on this game. Have you search a little?
