thats because even if u cancel your preorder you'll still be charged for it, with some supplyer namly the ones that hand out the keys for open beta on pre-order...make sure u can get a refunded b4 tryin this...

ok so i'm in england and i play CoX and WoW on the US servers, no lag issues so i have my pre-order with D2D so no shipment charges, just a download nice and easy my advice would be to do this if u wanna play across the pond

indeed i agree its just a game, its a very good game but they could of done (and hopfully will do) alot more with such a great IP

Q1 2008 is jan - march, so open beta in feb lunch sometime in march.

does what it says on the tin, PvP = player Vs Player, RvR = Realm Vs Realm

i see how you mean, RvR is just Mass PvP but still, mite as well call it what it is, if not then why would EAM trrademark the term?

PVP is out, Bring on RvR and WAR!

and they have put a release date out, as 02/15/2008 which i guess is just that a guess, or have they been told this date as when to expect shipping to happen as u can pre-order WAR there, oh well thought i would share

well i'll ding in with my 2 cents on this one. 1st off MMO UI's depend totaly on the game and style of play, city of heroes, all u need is hp/mana/xp and quick bars. they are what all MMO's need i have seen them done in many ways (i like EvE onlines hp/armor...just looks cool) so to say its lacking something is very hard, for prue pick up and play well WASD works on most mmo's and u can change basic controls when u get into game 1st time, so i'm not totaly sure what you think we need, i say put a poll up on things you seem to think are missing  cos all the games i play have everything any1 could need and if u still play wow there r tons of add-ons for there UI

yes there is not much "handholding" in this game, unlike WoW u have some1 to hold ur hand all the way to like lvl 60, but incomplate no it has a great back stroy, game play is really fast and fun packed, insances r not long and drawn out, and aside from a few issues i think this game will be ready for the most part for lunch date, as any1 who has played, beta, to 1st month of lunch alot changes very quickly. To tell the truth i like games that arent perfect at lunch it gives more room for groth this game i hope will do well i love all of richards other games and he knows how to tell one hell of a story, well bad spelling aside best wishes i say to TR

but i'm like the fast paceness of fps style and the rgp element is great, and its not an aimbot really just sticky targets

Can say a Orc do the Choas PvE and PVP content, as that would add a real intresting blancing task but also make the war so much more fun

hey been watching this game very closely and the non-combat part of this game is one of the biggest things i think, as i'm not much of a fighter, paining XP from puzzle sloving and crafting sounds like a great idea, but my question about lvl is this,

I know from a Q&A the devs plan to have the game repeatable but what will the end game be?

also will we be able to explore freely as in each world will b able to be visted as many times as i wish, i got the inpression that the worlds will be insances not free world if you can answer would be great

CoX is one of the best MMO's out there, i think i know what you mean about the cam, after leaving CoX for WoW for a bit when i came back i was used to WoW but after a few weeks i got used to it again, as for look and all that stuff, well...i spend hours and hours shopping for a new outfit, you can only have 4 outfits, the 5th is from the chirstmas event each year (well fun)

I'm with you 100% as i RP when i can in city of heroes just a lil change like that could make the OOC less, meanin a more in deph RP session maybe an opion to show "race exp name"

Ok well i have been looking over all the hype rating and the top rated games on the list and well a few games have been come out to me as games i will be trying but, what am i goin to stick to, i have now decided that warhammer online will be my game for 2008 but untill then mite stay on lord of the rings online, but with age of conan out in 4 months and WAR not out for 6 - 7 i may give that a try, so well heres the poll, pick the game you will be on in 2008
