Wow this site is full of ex SWG'ers with a huge axe to grind. Not sure what that has to do with Vanguard though! |

What a load of crap. I play with 1.5 gigs ram on a 2 year old system and its usually fine on balanced settings. There was one place near Three Rivers I had to turn it to 'performance settings'....but hey I only have a 128 meg geforce 6800, so thats not a big deal. |

The game is great. I was in beta since 2005 and even very recently was unsure whether I'd buy it. |

Since they STILL can't announce a date for beta to even get started, this interview probably won't help the vaporware rep very much.

I disagree with the article. There's no excuse for a new game not to have good graphics.
If they don't, it shows they have low production values, a small budget, or both and it doesn't exactly fill me with confidence in the rest of the game. Since graphics are what you are looking at all the time when playing the game, it is not the place for devs to skimp. If you want to emphasis excuses and justifications for some low budget, crappy art design game, go ahead. Personally I'd rather play games that had both great graphics AND great gameplay. |

Judging from the poll, 40% of gamers want mmorpgs that are ALL instanced. |

Not surprised as the game didn't seem that interesting...kind of like another Planetside. |
