Considering how popular the game is; its surprising there's so much hate and whining on these forums..

But the facts speak for themselves - the game is doing well. So the whiners can have fun bitching and complaining until Warhammer comes out; at which point they can start the whole process again.

I voted yes. But I still really enjoy the game.

Many motherboards need a BIOS update to work  with the latest intel cpus. Alhough I'd recommend grabbing a E8400 or a E3110 instead of a quad core if you do a lot of gaming. They are cheaper and can run at higher clock speeds....and games don't use 4 cores anyways. I run mine at 4ghz and avg about 45 fps on high settings with 2x AA, with an 8800GT.

Yes for sure. Its the first mmo where I've found it really fun to play a melee character. The combat is much better than crappy old auto attack.

There's some bugs etc but nothing game breaking. Plus they are patching twice a week, and each patch has tons of fixes, tweaks and improvements.

What a bullshit review. But people can spew any crap they want on a web page.

Yep the game is great...or still is at level 38 at least!

Anyways a 600 dollar computer can run AoC just fine, so this thread is kind of worthless.

The OPs post is ridiculous.

I mean how dumb can you get...there's been so many worse launches; and people generally agree that AOC's launch was quite smooth. The fact that there are some bugs is a different story - and normal for a new mmorpg release.

Seems like a dumb poll. If you're happy; then you can't be TOO displeased.

Has anyone been able to contact anyone at Funcom for any support issues?

Despite adding my forum info to my account page as required, I have never been able to log onto the US forums. I have written the forum 'webmaster', funcom support etc and never heard a peep back from them.

Not a huge big deal; but I'm surprised at this lack of support. At least with SOE I could call a real person.

Not everyone who likes open PVP sits at zone ins and ganks people.

However I'd be more likely to characterize Darkfall fans as dreamers, since the game seems to be vapourware. That kinda makes a thread like this amusing. How can they 'have it right' when they haven't really shown they have anything?

Racing to max level in any new mmo is always silly. I don't really have sympathy for people who play 24/7, then bitch about lack of content at 80 a week after release. These people usually quit anyways cause they 'have nothing to do'.

Now if content is still lacking when large numbers of people start hitting high levels - that's a different story.

No surprise. Its easy to bitch about instances and other issues; but overall its a very well built and fun  game to play.

You realize its the one thing that just about everyone likes, even the complainers?

1)  How come auto run stops if your character hits the smallest bump or change in terrain? Its a pain in the ass to have to keep hitting 'jump' to keep running cause your char stops all the time.

2) How many times do people have to ask before the devs give us the ability to LOCK THE HOTBARS! Such a simple thing, right? Every other bloody fight I end up switching around my hotkeys just from using the mouse.

Hmm can already do that every half hour with path of asura...

I really enjoy the game; but agree that instancing stinks in general. Should just be used rarely.
