I was talking to my guildie, and i asked him to explain what the diff is from the pvp in War to Wow. Im playing WAR right now and i dont see what the big whoop is, i feel like im doing Bgs in WoW non stop just to lvl. What is the big hyped RVR or w/e, isnt it the same as WoW? Isnt WoW RVR then? actually its better there since you actually fight against other servers..... Im not bashing WAR i like the game, but i just dont see the diff to the pvp from this to WoW.

RvR and pvp is the same shit, least you get to fight cross servers  vs other players not his BS were their are only like 4k to a server, and even servers that are full seem empty, and the game is all about BGS, so how is War not WoW?????? Scenarios = bgs, thats all ppl do and the Pve is horrendous

i think its amazing how they did the chat, so it confuses the masses and we dont get talk of cuck norris, or if u like turtles, or some other retarded kindergarten talk.

i always have chat turned off, why hear a bunch of 16 year olds argue about chuck norris , or whining about the game because its not WoW. Peace and quiet is the way to go imo

get scavenging and pvp, i just did scenarios from lvl 1-7  and i had like 25s left over after some geari bought, at 7 i got scavenging and when i get lvl 10 i had quite alot left over after the renown gear i bought

Trust me on this...  as I'm under theNDA and can;t say much...  but its only polishing and for the surprise, and its fun!

Come On : the siege eqpt in the keeps are all into fixed positions.
 

One is just above the main gate everyone knocks on (chest like). You can find ALL info on the web.

2 minutes later the door breaks open and you have the big mayhem on to the stairs.

You kill the Boss and all NPC's disappear: Keep conquered. Next.

No collapsable walls either. To see a collapse of walls: you'll have to visit the open world fortresses within WotLK Lake Wintergrasp (pity for the war fans).

That's it : 5 keep copies in a row.

BTW !!!!  it were exactly these "exciting keeps" that replaced 4 whole capitols in WAR.

Talking of short cuts !!!!!!

 

there's more to it in the tier 3 and tier 4 fella, moveable towers anyone???

Yeh and Blizzard arn't releasing the expansion in its current state, there are tons of bugs and graphical glitches but as we've seen in the past Blizzard never released a broken product.

pretty sure they are if they dont push it back now from the release date

eh goes slow if ur a tank trying to kill other tanks ...... but playing as a witch hunter i was downing dudes left and right, not 1-3 shottinb ppl but still pretty fast like 5-10 secs

On topic, I have been wanting to level up an Ironbreaker very much. I plan to play one at launch because they are part of the least popular faction (dwarves), and they are somewhat of a rarity (alongside the Rune Priest).

I have been holding back on playing one though, I hate playing through all of the content in beta and having nothing new to explore or experience at launch. So for now, I am trying all of the other races.

+ Ironbreakers looks awesome, but I hate tanking in instances so ill prob roll ranged dps.

this game when it says "Tank" it means ur the person to take the dmg in PVP not in PVE, there are only a handful of instanced things in this game and most are not PVE instances ala WoW, so you dont have to worry about tanking npcs, but tanking other green orcs and chaos

This is what my personal progression was like:

40 - 42: Noble District of Old Tarantia

42 - now: Fields of the Dead (you have to run through Conall's Valley to get here). The mobs in FOTD range from 38 - 50.

 

FOTD has plenty of quests! with about 6 of them being repeatable kill quests which autocomplete for about 4000 xp per quest.

I have also read about people having quest issues at about level 50, but even then it turned out that those people were looking in the wrong place (you get a bunch back at Old Tarantia?? mebbe... I wont get to that spot until this weekend).

Anyway, the moral of the story is that at the mid levels people keep having problems and cry about lack of content but it is because they aren't looking in the right spot. FC probably needs to help people along with a couple more "report to blah in foobar" to help things along, but until that time you should use the official AoC forums to help yourself along if you get stuck. There is plenty of info there.

Hopefully someone will put out a leveling guide in the near future. I am working on a basic guide just to help out my guild members but I have only covered levels 20 - 40 so far: narguild.com

get higher lvl and you will feel the burn my friend 50-60 there are about 23 quests , and you can grind the Tombs early 50  but thats about it, 30-40 i got 47-54 quests done and did the Sanctum a couple of times, see the difference??

Dude we just provided you with a map to areas where you can progress up to level 80.

Map of what, grinding spots, im done with nobels and FoD, no quests done with everything else, the only qyest i have in my log is my destiny quest, and maybe the repeatable ones that are worth 2000 xp from the wanted posters in FoD, are you playing the same game i am? And you better not say do the bugged out quests in Nobels, its retarded and stupid that they would release such an unfinished game

Hmm.. There are a shit load of quests thus far.

 

 

And imo grinding with a group is the most fun you can have in an mmo. That is of course, if the mobs are too hard to solo, which in this case, they're not. I digress

I hate WoW but i give them credit as hard as that is for me to do, i give it to them, that from lvl 1-60 on launch day every lvl had a decent amount of quests, EQ 2 aswell.

only thing holding me on now is the pvp, and if anyone else knows of some other zone that i have totally missed let me know

im done with field of the dead, and nobels, and since the world is as large as my finger their is nowhere else to go, grind??? i wish i didnt come to that. A brand spanking new game is gonna make me grind to lvl LOL, jesus.
