I have been checking the offical forums for a couple of days and I have almost the same specs as you except i have the 7600gt card which I think is almost the same as your card(someone will maybe correct this)and yep you should be able to run it fine on balanced settings and maybe a little tweaking but it should run fine.

a pointless post,The fact that SOE are giving old user`s a trial is so people like myself can judge the game again and see if it is for them or not so they dont have to listen to fanboi`s or hater`s,If you dont want to give the game another try then dont use it,It really is that simple.

You would only be biased if you had some alterior motive for posting positive comments i.e. if you worked for SOE, or if you were somehow getting a benefit out of posting positive comments (getting paid, etc)

Well he would be getting something out of being biased..getting more players to play the game which could help him enjoy the game more and help the game as a whole,So yes he was right to state he could be biased.

i will be trying it again from tomorrow and I seen my lvl 17 shammy is still waiting for me,If they have improved the FPS and general playabilty of the game and it doesnt CTD every hour or so,Then I will be quite happy but the biggest downside was also the population to say I could play for 8hrs without bumping into another player as the world was so huge and the player base so low when i played is realistic.

This game could be great i thought when i played but it has a huge learning curve with lots of traveling and is always nice to have people to ask questions or indeed watch questions being answered to help you out on your journey,Alas this was missing before but maybe if the game is indeed playable now it will kill 2 birds with 1 stone for me,I can play the game and fully enjoy it and people will come back to the game and do away with my population fears.

I will start to find the answer`s to my question starting tomorrow..

Well the fact that you are willing to answer the question`s honestly but biasedly wont have many jumping to ask questions,Besides the free trial starts tomorrow so I think we will just find out for ourselves,Thanks all the same.

I was playing a shaman before I had to stop due to preformance,I will start playing him again on tuesday with the free trial,I really did enjoy the shaman as I do like to solo alot but also like to group from time to time,With his healing spells,Nice offensive spells and he can do well in melee also and lets not forget his pet,I took the bear which was great for the solo aspect.If the game does run well and some of the annoying bugs are out I may well resub and try a couple of other classes out but they would have to be something very special to beat the fun of the shaman.

I’m not going to try to tell you what game is better or what you should play, it’s just this isn’t a good game.  It was doomed from the get go and I can’t see it getting better.  SoE has other games coming out and I can’t see them sticking with this one for too much longer.  Soon it will be pushed to the back with the Matrix and planet side.

It was great in beta and alot of fun when it went live,But then no fun as it was a huge world with nothing to do.The time I did spend in vanguard a few months back I did find it fun with lots to do and a great world to explore,I can only imagine that because you play WoW so much maybe because this game doesnt lead you like you are on a yellow brick road you didnt enjoy it,I aint no fanboi of this game maybe I am even the opposite but I will give the game another try if they are giveing us some freetime to try it out again,If it is alot more playable with steady and higher FPS alot of the bugs gone,Then I know I will enjoy playing and may even sub again.

All this "it will be q2-q3"or "q4-2009"is all hearsay,Blizzard have said time and again"it will be out when it is ready"end of and no room to discuss,That message says it all.

Sure if that is indeed the case but I never heard of that when I played thats why I thought maybe you got mixed up or whoever told you got mixed up that it was indeed that people from the USA had the gold edtion for the mount I have no idea,Sorry cant help further.

I mean what do you want,Finger I.D,Everytime someone logs on send someone to there door for proof of age,Give me a break and tbh like someone else hase said you can get a guy at 34 who acts like a 12 year old,Trust me I have seen it at 1st hand,Also you can have a 14 year old who acts very mature we had 1 in our guild and the guy was a saint and very mature,So maybe instead of the "keep the kids out"campain it should be 'keep the immature out"then again isnt almost every game plagued by this and you just have to find the guild for you and avoid these people?

I think he is pointing to the same as I did that it only comes with the gold edtion of the game,I cant honestly remember any of the founders getting a free mount at lvl 25,I could be wrong like I said I never spent alot of time in the game only till lvl 34 and never heard of anyone with a free mount,Also with them sending out that email today to me about the gold edtion comes with some extra items including a free mount at lvl 25 maybe you are mistaken.

1.Time moves on and so do system requirements,Again if you dont have the system you wont be able to play but I think even a decent rig will be able to run AoC.

2.Nope i think many feel with it having that rating it will encourage kids to play it,Lets be honest if you have a kid who is maybe 12-13 and you rent an 18 rated action movie I would say 98% of the population would let them watch it,So why not let them play a game with that rating?This for me is a big fear for AoC it will be swamped with kids not the opposite.

• that has areas where you can pwn people your own level or just gank newbs that are several levels below me. Or you can train peacefully without worrying about being attacked because thats not fair.
• that has safe combat zones where you can fight other players and lose nothing and gain all thier cool lootz.
• where you can give birthday presents to your friends and then take them back a month later when you need gold for that +187 god sword. 
• that has 5+ age servers so that you can play with people your own age.
• that has great customer service and that gives free loot to it’s players.
• that has good graphics without lag, kinda like runescape. 
• that is free to play.
• that you can play for years without ever losing a battle .
• that has skills that npcs do for you.
• that has item purchasing for the lowbies without god mode.
• that allows you to destroy a guild because they made fun of you.
• where you can do what you want that day at any time without being restricted by stupid rules.
• that resources are plentiful and just take a minute or two to obtain, and there are great rewards for your levels instead of more suffering.
• that places value on your work and rewards it greatly instead of making resources cost more than the end product.
• that as you level you really do gain rewards from your levels instead of making everything just take longer.
• that isn’t overly complicated and doesn’t make me use the keyboard if I do not want to<----------CLASSIC
• that allows the freedom to do what you want , the right to have it handed to you and all of this on one player, not having to create several to accomplish this.

If anyone knows of such a game, I would love to know as well as the millions of people that are on the same journey as myself. I constantly have people asking for suggestions for this exact type of game, but yet I have no answers. If someone would just create that game, they would win the hearts of many gamers as well as their memberships. If you do not believe me .. just look at the runescape forums here, So many clans, families, and friends are looking for just this game, surely someone has created something to meet this demand? Exscapers are tired of the tyranny of that company and are eagerly looking for a better game.We have $ we want to spend it just trying to find a game worth spending it on, not a game that you have to keep spending more and more just to get items in game, but a game that we can spend more and more by playing it for years. Thank you for any suggestions.

Normally I wouldnt laugh at someone mocking another player,Well there is a 1st time for everything,Trying to pick my favorite one but too many

Cant see how this would work tbh,Someone goes out farming just before I raid dies and either loses a level or someone from his guild has to go res him,I can hear the bashing from here,It really feels you would just be punishing someone for the sake of punishing them.It is maybe a little like(i did say little) bit like VG were you can lose xp and go into negative but not as unfair as for the player to lose a level.

Ahh ok,Was just I got an email today saying if I bought the new gold edtion of the game i would get a few in game items and 1 of them was a mount at level 25,Though maybe they are just repeating something the founder members got,To be honest I never stayed in the game long enough to go through the different free items for the different sub offers.

Isnt the free horse and a couple of other things only from the new gold edtion of the game?

Well I am all set,Even checked the forum and searched for my old guy and he is still there so that was nice,If indeed the game does play alot better now I will sure have some fun with my shammy,He was 1 of the best classes I have played in a mmo just for the pure fun of having alittle bit of everything including the pet,So here is hoping...
