While 50 euro's is maybe not a great deal of cash it doesnt mean I want to just throw it away!I worked for that 50 euro's so anything I buy with it has to be worth it.

You use a pretty weak arguement,In life you buy things that work,You dont buy say a new camera for 50 dollars go home and it doesnt work and think"mah it was only 50 dollars"and throw it in the bin do you?

WoW is very easy to pick up and play,within the 1st 5-6 levels you have passed the learning curve,Yes alot of games are easy but there are quite a few with harder learning curves.

Things like crafting are also very easy and take little thought unlike some MMo's like VG's crafting system that needs alot more thought.

Leveling in WoW has to be the easiest I have seen,you basically "follow the yellow brick road" go from quest hub to quest hub,If you die 20 times trying a quest*shrug* who cares,you are hardly crucified for dying in wow,You can be level 70 putiing the time in,in around 2-4 weeks.

None of this is a bad thing I guess and is what blizzard forseen and the numbers stand for themselves,so I guess the players like it this way.

Well having to pay upfront for it is just crazy,At this moment it could be just about anything but I guess if you have the cash not to worry about it then fair enough.

Elsabolts you keep saying in all your posts that there isnt an open beta,I asked before and will ask again,can you provide a link from an offical source that there is indeed no open beta?

I think you are getting alittle caught up in the raid side of things,Minstrel's are always in demand as is any healer in a MMo,My suggestion would be grab a class that you enjoy and not a class ppl enjoy you to play,If you are really good at your class you will get a spot in a guild and in raids,Just the fact you are a minstrel wont get you in a raid if you turn out to be a bad healer or indeed you dont enjoy the class you wont care that much when you do play.

Just my thoughts,hope you do well.

Vanguard has alot of what you are looking for,Some ppl love it but others like me cant stand it,personal choice I guess,Also may AoC could be for you,near to release now so mabye 1 to keep an eye on.

I will roll a Priest of mitra,I always enjoy playing a healer,with the added CC this class has and the coned healing I think it will be perfect for me and also a good challenge to try and master it.

You will be fine with that set-up.

For me I like honest people,It seems now that devs are getting to be more and more dishonest.

I was really looking forward to this title from just before Christmas 2006,since then we have had the "normal"delay's but since the start of the year it has got ,lets say a bit strange(but at the same time what is becomming normal)

At q1 this game was still on course for the release as posted by the devs,nearer the time it got delayed for "final polishing" and we were told"game is ready to go and complete"--->q2.

So Q2 came and again it was all positive"finishing touches" etc etc.delayed till q4.

So they got the (maybe)US publisher,got the fat cheque and will go for worldwide release,Hey thats great but why oh why they cant release in europe now if indeed the game is "ready for release and needing just final polishing" and thats from Q1?

Releasing a game that is great in europe would only help sell the US version,but no they wont release and why you ask,Hey I glad you did ask..

So was this game actually ready or did they indeed just want to release an unfinshed product and build from there?

Ok I have played MMo's long enough to know that they have to be built up,But ffs be honest about it,How about a "ok guys we have just got some more cash in and we want to finish the game so wont be releasing in euorpe until the end of the year and try to finish this game"

Instead we get.."we are in talks with US publisher (etc etc) as for the european launch we will use this delay till q4 to polish it more"

I know I may get flamed but I really hope you can see some logic in this post,I dont mind a delay or 2 but with this game now over a year delayed and we still get told in q1 that the game is done and just polishing till the end of the year still polishing,These guys just aint being honest,so why believe them at anytime?

ps,When I tell my wife I am going to do some polishing around the house,I dont mean I will build that piece of furniture 1st then polish it....

Still good to hear they have a publisher and a "release date"....i think.

If it is SOE I am 100% sure they will lose players,As for the "release date" man ,I really dont know,They have delayed over a year now and now they want to go head to head with,what could be 5 AAA+ titles,I have to be honest and say I see them either delaying again till 2009 or facing a very very hard winter.

I had same problems as the op,Taking dizzy spells etc,When I went to the doctor for something else I mentioned it and she gave the advice to play in a well light room so I could focus on other things,also that I could see around the monitor and it did work.

I must add it was only on FPS I got this after maybe longer session's.

I will give you an honest opinion on it m8,It could be a great game,it really could but the bugs are still there,the zoning is still there,alot of the time you feel you are all alone,It is the feeling alone that bothered me so much,I dont pay to play just to spend maybe(yes this is true)maybe 8 hours and not see 1 single player,Yes you may see a flurry of chat from time to time on general but thats not what you pay for.

My advice I would leave it alone for now,maybe just maybe if they can turn it around re-release with all the buttons,then try it again,trying it now will just lead to dissapointment.

does your board support pci.e?

I am pretty sure it does though,what sort of cash do you have,If you have the cash buy a 8800gt card and you are good to go.

When asking advice on upgrades it is always best to give as much info as you can,your psu,what cards it supports are all usefull here,basically as much as you know.

I wouldnt go overclocking anything atm,If you just want to run this game your system should be fine,but everyone and I mean everyone is guessing atm,You are above the recommended specs so I hope that is more than enough,only time will tell,If indeed you are on low fps etc when you play that is maybe the time to either upgrade,overclock or just give the game a miss.

so there could be,So no point in the previous poster stating "no open beta" unless just to be negative is there?
