Yes I did read they were adding a new 55-60 zone,I think along with myself alot of other players said this was needed, the problem is summer is a long time and that zone could be 2-3 months off even if they hit there target(which doesnt happen very often in mmo's)so even slow relaxed players will hit the grind,I aint no power level'er I just play at the speed it goes and after 3 weeks I was at level 60 and grinding has become to much, even you relaxed player's will be into the grinding stage(or gave up) once this new zone comes. Simple fact is they thought adding the "posters" would take away the grind as they didnt have anything else in place and it really really doesnt work, like I said in another post AoC could be a game to check out in maybe 4/5 months once they have a game past level 50 and some sort of travel in place aswell as a working crafting system. It is ok to say "dont rush through the game" but every player plays to his pace and the game has to be ready for them, but I think even what could be 3 months after release players having to grind 7 or 8 level's is a bit much to ask.. |

If I were you I would level my other guys now to 40,level 54+ is nothing but a grindfest with little or no questing and you will soon grow tired of the gameplay after killer 300 guys in 1 sit in because you dont have any quests. I agree the game is fun but it isnt finished and add to which you will spend alot of time around level 50 just running through level 20 zones to get where you want to be. |

Yes the 8400 is a poor gamming card but he should still be able to run AoC on the lowest settings with better than 8fps,m8 can you post the rest of your specs like your os so we can see what else you have going and not going for you. |

"Questing is the mainstream way of gaining exp, with plenty of quests to do right up to level 50, however after level 50 quests become lacking and grinding does begin to set in, again though the grind in AoC is a lot more forgiving than most MMO's and feels much less of a chore as you bring your sword cleanly across you enemies throats, watching there head bobble around the floor as there body lifelessly crashes to the ground. Questing does currently have a lot of bugs with some quests either not completeable due to the goal constantly repeating to the quest targets not spawning, this can and is in situations where your epic story questline can break a very frustrating affair and has been a severe source of much of the players woes."
Sorry m8 but you are a bit off here, from level 53 onwards is a real grindfest and nothing but nothing can hide that fact,I finished questing at around 53 and grind out 4 levels of killing the same thing over and over,or at least until I lost my grinding spot to other ppl, even come level 57 when you get another couple of quests you are scared to do them as you know you will be in for a bigger grind, guess what you would be right, really you shouldnt be at aztec or thunder river till 60/61 and even then the quests are spare, they have said they will add another 55-60 zone in the summer but not sure if that is true. Crafting is really bad at the moment, well at least the 1s I tried are(gemcutting)being about the worst ,all it does is take up room trying to do the 1 quest and you cant even sell them to npc and ofc not many ppl need them in game. Also really bad maybe even worse than the grind is the damn travel, was so glad when I got 3g to get my horse and riding skill after soooo many trips from ep mountains to noble district for the main system runs etc just to find it doesnt go that much faster than running on foot, still the fastest way to travel is through death and respwn closer to where you want to go. Sorry but this game is nothing more atm than a quest(till around lvl 54) then grinding game, sure you can watch your guild city get built but other than that there is nothing in the game to keep you going, also at this moment there is no atmosphere in the game other than through your guild, you will only be chatting with ppl in your zone through ooc and trust me that could be a very quiet place, nice graphics and some good quest lines at that start but unfortunatly it doesnt hold for long, this is for sure a game to check out in maybe 4 or 5 months. |

It is ok to buy a pre-made if you know what to look for but dont buy anything with a card like a 8400,The basic things you need atm is at least a duo core maybe a 2.66 at least 2 gb ram(dependant on the os)with vista get 4gb,get yourself a 8800gt card at least(these dont cost that much and are great gamming cards)and make sure you do some research on the psu(power supply unit)as a bad 1 will give you so many problems you wont believe. End off the day m8 a pre-made pc is a good if you cant build 1 but still make sure you do your homework. |

Honest m8 dont judge it just because you dont have the quests atm,try and move around zone's as you level more quests become available. |

well those drivers are I think still beta and also not needed unless you are running sli the 169 1s still work perfect, although I dont know what your system is but that indeed could be the problem, try going back to the old driver's.

You will run the game just finbe at high setting's. I run a duo 2.66,4gb ram 8800gt 512mb and on high with bloom off and I get around 60fps in the wilderness and around 30-40 in cities, even FOTD is better after the patch,The game doesnt use dx10 yet and I am not to sure it uses quad core either, but regardless you will have a great time, trust me :) |

The quests you get in FOTD and the noble district will keep you very busy at those levels, after maybe 51 you will have to maybe grind a bit but there are always quests and/or dungeons. |

You will be fine, you may have to settle for a lower spec but it still looks great, also tweaking at medium may also work, trust me you dont need a ninja pc to run this. |

1st off you can change your chat box quite simply by clicking on it to include what you want to be told,2nd Tortage is simply there to get you used to your class, yes after 19 levels I was also ready to leave but the world does open up like you wouldnt believe, tbh most of your post simply sounds like some that hasnt even tried to help himself 1st with things like the chat window,I suggest instead of just playing, try to learn then if you feel the need to vent at least you can do so in an educated manner. |
