m8 you have to give more info,tbh running sli you will only see real improvement with a 24"screen for higher res,also you could do better using your cash on other system specs and going single card like the 8800gt or 8800gts.more is not always better.

I have said this a few times and will say it again,If you struggle to run this game or even if you are on low settings I would worry how it will handle in the higher levels come siege combat etc,It is ok to say "yep I run at low settings with so and so system" but I would wager that come the higher end content you will be running a slide show.

press your"start"on the bottom left of your screen,you will see a search there,in that box type "dxdiag"and you will get all the info you need :)

There is no point in the op buying a new card,it is a waste of money,you are running duo core machine he is not also the money he spends on a new card even if it is a 7 series wont help him in the slightest,best he put that money to a new system.

Also the card you are using plz would also help.Although I have a funny feeling it will be an on board card.

you can use 3.25 gb of ram in xp...so he can still have 4gb...but not all of it will be used...

You have no idea what OS he/she is running but tell them to get more RAm,you have no idea what gfx card they support and also they can dual them but you advise 2x3870 cards and say they are the best(lol at that alone),you have no info but advise the upgrade I call that dribble.

While I agree I cant hate you for yor opinion,I have to ask you have been waiting for a MMo for 2 years but wont give a MMo a chance this close to launch?

I haven't been waiting 2 years for an MMORPG.  Well, I did get kinda hyped up about Vanguard, perhaps I'm suffering from some post-Vanguard-stress disorder, but I'm kinda happy with MMOs as they are now.  I don't understand why so many people are desperately hoping that the genre is suddenly going to change dramatically.  If you don't enjoy MMORPGs, why bother wishing the next one will be one you like.  Perhaps the game you originally liked hasn't been killed by it's evil developers, perhaps you're just tired of the genre and need to move on?

I'm not talking to you, specifically, rather everyone who thinks MMORPGs are in a state of ruin atm and are hoping the next game will be the holy grail.  You can't have the holy grail, cos it's sitting on my mantlepiece right now, granting me eternal life, and you don't know where I live.

Ok my life quest will now be to find the MMo I (we)need,failing that hunt you down and steal the grail,I am easy either way.....

Personally I think this just shows the attitude of the MMo gamer today,we used to have polls saying which would be the best but now we have which will be the worst,I start to wonder do gamer's these days want a game to flop more so they can get there post count up and feel important more than they would enjoy a game to do well?

Yep you might think this is a stupid question but is it anymore stupid than having a poll for 3 AAA+ titles which will flop the hardest?
