So exactly how many BOOM! folks got into beta? It seems almost everyone with a comic ordered did. Did anyone with one not get in?

I think it will end up being fine. One reason they said the 4 classes were cut is because they played too much like other classes and they want distinction between them. I am sure we will either a few of them back or completely new ones. The capitals will be in later which is no biggie. You have to think in other games like WOW later on when your maxed lvl and your a Night Elf do you really hang in Darnassus? No because it sucks you go to IF or SW because they are more populated. I actually thing 2 capitals would even be fine later on because 4 to me seems like alot and before the news I swear I read or something that they were cut. I had not seen any pics of them so that maybe why.

And I mean like an above poster said the dungeon stuff in the capitals or whatever is end game so I think by he time we really flesh out and get to capturing the big cities they could by then have another one ready to go you know? The first ones will function just like the first ones but will have more quests and such for all the races.

Yes, WAR is dropping a bit of content and they have given their reasons whether we like or agree with them or not.  Adding the comment that only WoW did not do that was rather idiotic however.  As has been discussed many times, there were a number of things WoW put off til a post launch time.  Why the insistane on comparing WAR (and every other game) to WoW all the time?  They are not the same game.  Until people grasp that it is pointless to debate things with them.

 

Like I seem to remember WOW was going to have PVP in game at launch and didn't that came later and as you see now int the game is a huge thing. WAR doesn't wanna release with half asses cities they want 2 HUGE cities that are perfect I am sure they will add the others sooner rather then later. But sure WOW has all capital cities but all fo them feel to have little point to me they are just gathering places anyway and we have to remember these cities will be so huge that they will all of kinds of different places. I mean in WOW Darnassus and Exodar are all but dead most of the time leaving Iron Forge and Stormwind to host alot of players and I never get any slow down being around that many folks I used to when I had an awful computer like 4 years ago lol.

Anyway on the classes I knew something was up when the Blackguard you still couldn't click on his pick and get info. But the others were kind of a suprise especially the choppa. Anyway I am sure they will these in later and work them around a little bit to there liking.

So in the end don't worry guys this will still be a great game they just do not wanna release the stuff they know will not work right now. I mean if other companies did this people wouldn't be so pissed. I mean liek AOC re-did and deleted classes post launch and then at launch some were still messed up cause they wanted so many. Now you see they were patching them every few days to try and get them right. WAR does not want to do this they want the classes right and want them to feel they can go toe to toe with anyone else.

Just buy another account and level it yourself. If you do not have the patience then do not play. You want the high level character but do not want to pay for it thats what it boils down to. Also its alot of these account buyers whom I would group with and they SUCK because they did not grow with the class and learn how to play and have all these high level powers. Granted this is not everyone but alot of times you can tell an account buyer. If you don't like the game at low levels why do you think you will like the later grind of raiding/instances/pvp.

I do not blame the guy for reclaiming his account its the peoples fault for buying them with no sort of counter measures. The companies could do as I said above open a new account and transfer ownership then they cannot do anything. Because the guy wouldn't have the info for the other account and couldn't reclaim that one. I saw this sort of info on some MMO account trade site. It was one of the guidelines to do this to make sure you didnt get screwed.

You take risks when you do this its illegal to sell your account. They want to keep the game fun for everyone and I hate being invited by gold farms just to have them spam to me. Also the spamming in chats of course they are professional about it and give you stuff back if not do you know how many people would complain because probably 50% of the time the original owner is a dick and sell the account and gets it back.

Do you know one thing you can do to prevent this actually? Buy your own account and have the character transferred but make it in the persons name to make sure its right. Get all the info from the company. Also to be a dick let WOW know you bought this account and such and its yours they will close his account lol. My pal was all into this and it was alot of problems. He eventually found an account they had opened and leveled so it was all good for him. But I myself do not endorse these companies because in the end its the way people buy gold and such that make items go up so high for everyone and ruin stuff for people. Also its these people who key log accounts and use them to farm and steal money that people turn around and buy.

Blizzard imo does a fine job at cracking down on these guys and I hope it continues. People who support these companies I guess have there own opinions and now doubts the people are nice. Still in the end everything they do is illegal and breaks the rules you sign up for when you make an account.

When is the guild beta actually starting?

They go by how long you stay logged in for once. Usually you get a small ban maybe 24 hours or 3 days. I buddy had them do this it was his first offense and they put (suspected botting) and he got 3 days so did you have anything else you ever got banned for?

Anyway they can ban my IP if they see someone is playing and say he tries to log in and it kicks him off or vice versa this throws up a red flag they may not do anything but on top of that they notice the character is logged in for many hours at a time. And yeah most of those companies will deny using bots but most do unfortunately. I can level quicker then the grinders anyway since they only grind mobs with little to no quest I can max my XP per hour with questing and such.

This isn't always the case. They can know 1-2 months before. I think they know at the end of July or early August.because by then they should see if most of the GB stuff is ironed out. Because they know way before we will.

I mean AOC posted there release and stuck with way before they even knew it would be ready and it wasn't. So we only have a little while to wait I think before we get a release date for sure.

Well that isn't true they have said it releases this fall. I am still thinking it could come out in October or so. Because they do not need 2-3 months to post the official release date they normally post any delays in that time. But honestly with a MMO they could see GB is going good at the first of August or middle and have there stuff lined up to ship out since they only have to print the disc really so it won't take that long.

They could go gold right before OB and have it out sometime in October I am guessing. November will be doubtful I think I am still thinking September-October myself.

Well even if they know by September since Guild Beta releases like this coming week or something then they will have plenty of time to get Open beta up and go gold. Because I am sure if they know they are to release they will begin the gold process way before. So a end of Septemeber first of October date isn't out the window.

One thing November release may be out because WOTLK comes out then and I know they will not go up against them. Because with WOW's big following they probably wanna beat WOTLK to market because some consumers will not spend the $50 for one game and then another they wanna try. But if WAR comes out before people will be anxious for a new WOW expansion and try something new while they wait.  This is for the people who do even play WOW who will be buying the game mind you.

But this is how they are probably thinking because that expansion is gonna be there biggest competition right now. And WOTLK beta is starting soon and everyone says it should be good to go by November or December. So really October will be the only good month they could release and not get boned.  I sure hope it does come out by then.
