Anyways, I was looking for a gameplay video till I stumbled on this:

The difference is that AoC was getting constant cries of "Don't release this game! This game, in its state, shouldn't be released on the public!" and so on, while WAR isn't. I haven't seen a single post in any fansite  that this game isn't ready for release; the only thing I've seen is people not liking it for this reason or that, which, regardless, speaks very favorably for the game.

I guess we'll have to wait and see, but this game is entirely on another level than AoC at release.

Okay, this took me 5 minutes too write, and it even didn't succeed decent. But too the real topic, where am I able to buy the ability too look in the future?

I mean, AoC was  going to rock the world, so does WAR..

I didn't saw much from AoC, but hey fortune tellers are having right on this forum. Someone please grant me the abilty to look in the futur and show some of the succes of WAR!! Can't find it in the present to be honest.

P.S, No I am not a WoW fanboi, I play EvE online.. I just get mad on all these trolls.. I know it doesn't help, but hey.. I am bored!

I know its sad. But I think we shouldn't really care. I mean, we already new people are always saying the same as they heared from somebody else.

I mean, if a game is great, it don't need good comments in the development stage, but after it. Great example is AoC, which was going to blast us all away in epicness if I should believed the comments.

Its all about a opinion. I think the combat is slow and boring *kuch* ( used to the TCoS combat system ) *kuch*. But a friend of mine really enjoys it.

Its all about opinions. WoW is in my eyes still the best MMORPG out there, but for only saying that here I will start a flame fest because of giving my opinion.

When do you learn you can't judge a opinion. You can only see if somebody knows all the facts, but in this case, if 2 people played the same game, but 1 likes, and 1 dislikes, there is no right or wrong.

So go play WAR and stop posting this crap. I rather read a stupid troll post, because they are funny.

WOTLK Intro movie

Why? It has a story. Not some mindless bashing of eachother. The WOTLK intro movie has a interesting story. It makes people who do enjoy reading quests wonder what is going to happen.

The WAR Trailer is nothing special. I mean, sure its fun how the little goblin get's eaten by it's pet. But.. so what?

What does it tell you? Both movies are totaly different. One is epic because of the fights, and the other one is epic because of the story it has to tell and the asumptions that are able to be made from it.

WAR trailer is more like a Rambo movie

WOTLK is more like a well.. something bit more intellegent.

Well as a beta tester I can say..

I played the WAR beta.

But I don't use it. Nuff said. And I  am a PvP fan.

I am following this game closely..

But I don't have my hope's high up. It has nothing to do with the game itself. All those "failed" launches and empty promises made me do it;)

No you can't steal their ship.. well you can, if the pilot shoots himself out of it. But the results are the same, loose fight = lost inventory + gear.

You asume people that got bored with Aion go play TCoS. The reality is, people who like the game, go play it. If you like TCoS, why would you play Aion? Only because it is a big name?

I was saying that the Beta causes games to delay. They find troubles that the QA / dev team didnt see.

And delaying a whole year? I know I don't have the slightes proof, but it happens to most MMO's. Why not to ER? It's only just 3 years in development.

I never played WoW. Only EvE online.

Yes I agree on you there are a few people that only see full loot or full pvp.  But that is just because a lot of people have not really read about it.  But you have done an excellent job on gathering all the information and putting it in one place. 

 

Yeah, fixed my wording a bit. Masthead certainly thinks they can make the dates because they were asked in a recent house of commons if there were any plans to push back the beta/release, and they said no and that they were on schedule. I also wish they'd release a video, because like you mentioned, a lot of people don't think it'll come out until they see a video.

I hope you're right about the beta date being released, I'd hate to see the game die because it just didn't have enough press. Thanks for the compliment with the info, but that isn't anywhere near all of it! Just some of the more commonly asked stuff. :)

I don't know where I read this, but Beta is causing alot of delay. Bug fixing takes alot of time. I mean, I can model + skin and animate 1 character a day. And I am a total noob in it. But to have it working ingame is something totaly different.

So I am pretty sure they won't make 2009. Which isn't bad ofcourse. It is boring the waiting, but good games are better then fast games.
