I've been gaming with LotD for about 2 years now. They are a very solid guild. If anyone is looking for a home in WAR, one should definitely check out the LotD website.

A lot of you fellas who started out with DAoC missed out on the AC community. Thats one MMO that will never die.

Without a doubt Lineage 2 is a great game. But the game has almost reached Chronicle Five and by this stage in the game any new comers are going to be entering to late.

It would be better to wait for a new or upcoming MMORPG instead of settling for L2. Dont get me wrong, I play L2 but only because I have been there since the beginning, Ive seen a lot of new gamers get left behind and they never get the full L2 experience.

I feel what drove the play base away was the initial start of the game. It was very fun to play and my friends and I were drawn to it for awhile.

Nevertheless what would have been a lot more interesting was if they started the game with the content that the developers said would drive the player base. Instead of starting Joe Smoe out in a field of maggots, Joe should have been started on a small plot of land next to a few other fellows in the middle of a NPC infested forest or something of the like. These players could then band together and fight off the NPC's in the area.

If anyone here has ever attempted to play A Tale in the Desert 2. There system for plot development and interaction with other players was perfect. Even if you started a day before your friend, he could still find you rather easily no matter where you chose to start in the world, even if he started in the wrong place he could join you by traveling through a portal. This really encouraged some player drive communities and I think Horizons would have benefitted from that instead of beginning with a grind.

If anyone on these boards plays on the Thistledown server. Is Pomperipossa's Alliance still around?

Id be interested to know if he is still playing the game.

So Ive been following this game since 2005 when the TCoS forums only consisted of a few members. I dropped out of posting on the boards every day for other games and an actual social life but I want to create a guild based off of these forums.

It seems like a lot of the users here are interested in the game. We can create a guild, get a name going and a roster. Anyone will be more then welcome to join.

In due time I might also be able to get a website set up for the guild and maybe a ventrillo server. Anyone interested?

The population wont be growing anytime soon either. I tried the trial, I played neocron 1 for a long time and beta tested the second, not too long ago.

Their "Free Trial" has too many faults and is too unsecure to draw any new player base. The new trial is backed by a hole in the wall site which you have to give your CC number to in order to get a free account.

I went through the site and handed my CC number over to play the trial. I get in the trial and I am spawned in an exitable area of the world. Nothing worked (Yes I know of the unstuck commands) and no GM would respond so I couldnt even play the game. I canceled my trial and hour later and said farewell to neocron.
