 You think you have problems? What about us peeps on servers that weren't that heavil populated in the first place. Its nearly impossible to get a group even at peak times, and I'm trying to do the book quests. I know why it is but it doesn't mean i have to like it. 

I played Guild Wars and then FFXI before i went to Lotro. I played Guild Wars for about 2 years and the ni played FFXI for about 3 months. i liked FFXI but because it was like 5 years old when I started playing there wasn't many people in the lowbie areas which meant I couldn't really level up that far into it and i got bored. But saying that the groups I did go in were really fun and I loved the community on FFXI.

Lotro I picked on a kind of not thinking buy not really looking forward to anything. But when i came in i was really surpised how good it was. i fell in love with it when i wondered into the old forest and the atmosphere of it just totally blew me away. I loved the Books and the storyline and the general NPCs text even though people complain I take to much time reading them. But i like to immerse myself.

I quit though because when i got to Level 50 there wasn't much community and the areas were kind of barran. But i am coming back to get ready for Mines of moria.

Nope it says on the official FAQ that they will be working it on the xbox 360 as well...so no misinformation. It is the same engine as Champions after all.

I dn't actually mind it being a console games, console games seem to be the most popular games at the moment. And seeing the lates PC games at the moment PC gaming is turning watered down because it wants to get the console market still playing on the PC. Also most PC games now a days are ports from the consoles.

Consoles aren't watered down games, the people who play them are instantly children who whine all the time. I know many console players who are intelligent blokes, or intelligent teenagers(you do get them sometimes, you know there not all chavs listening to chav music or shouting about chuck norris). There may be a problem with controls but looking at FFXI there isn't much to worry about it.

Can I say I'm 17 and love Star trek and want the same things that you do..so don't start going around and saying all teens don't know Star Trek. I have been brought up with Star Trek, I especially love The Next Generation.

i agree with you, I want  tactical space fights, not wow in space. But i don't agree with you on the crews, I still think that Player crews would be kind of useless because what would the secruity chief do when not on away missions. Its just to much of a struggle finding everybody something to do when they don't have control of the ship.

If I see them screwng this up Cryptic will have hell to pay.

Basically you need a corp really to do anything, you need gangs to survive, you need gangs to do anything. You need gangs. You are a cog in the machine, but what a cog you are. The adreniline you get from a match is incomparable to PVP in any other game. You care about yuor ship because you paid a bit of money on it, you have heart attacks if it ever goes under a certain amount of armour or structure. Basically EVe is an experience you will never have in any other game.

EVE shouldn't change, you should change your mindset to EVE. WoW has put too many people under there wing, people are too confortable there and if they ever saw th outside world they would be scared. EVE is good on its own, but your minset to EVE isn't. It should change anything.

If you find a reason why a wow player is leaving wow most of the time you will get the answer of battlegrounds ruining PVP gameplay. So no I don't think it should have it in. That said Faction Warfare is technically battleground, you have a place to fight over and you do al lthis PVP stuff to take over a region and do that for every region so technically that is battlegrounds.

EVE PVE is quite boring, only reason people play it is to get to the PVP stuff. And now thats not even correct anymore with this new Faction war stuff. EVE is great as a PVP, if it was anything but it would be a boring game everyone would hate. And if they did change a bit to make it viable for PVE it would be just a WoW clone in space which no one wants in the EVE community.

Well I'm quite new, always trying the trial but never staying because of the coplexities but its defintily gotten onto my interests. I love the idea of 0.0 space, where player runned empires battle it out for space and to be in that cog is exciting. The only problem I would say is that the PVE side of it is quite lacking, though with this new expansion you won't need the PVE much to get into PVP.

I have actually never been attacked in high sec so but i do think you have to be careful, which is what I love if a game can give you a minor heart attack everytime you move around i think it has something special. Also don't trust anyone, even your friends, they might be good to chat with but if you trust them you will probably  get burnt...but thats the nature of the game.

I come from more 'traditional' MMOs and yes it is quite hard for new players some times, but that is why there is a great community that will help you if you just ask them. It does take awhile to know the basic stuff, and don't even think you will know everything about it but if you know things that get you by the other stuff won't matter unless you are dealing with it directly. It will reward you after awhile you just have to wait and see rather then the game give it on a silver platter.  

Also you have to know that late 30s and late 50s is lacking in quests a lot, so you might make a lot of alts. But Funcom is looking into it at least.

Ok first of all i didn't say I hit a brick wall just like in lotro i said about y hatred of brick walls and how LOTRO gave me a brick wall. Maybe I should of described a bit more about my brick wall experience but it was at LEVEL 50. I hate brick walls.

Secondly that guy who said I need a Taxi for everything I don't, I haven't even needed any help so far for my quests except for the Wonded Child one but we defaulted on that because of the bugginess. I have been playing solo(I thought this was an MMO) and i haven't scremed in the OOC about the impending demise of quessts and how I need everything on a silver platter and if I don't i will slit my wrists. Oh and I took a guild because I thought about what it gave to me and I'm liking my guild at the moment.

Thank you all the other people who gave me answers that actually helped my situation. I have been to cimmeria but all those quests are green, and I will try Stygia tonight.

Man I like this game and I'm not a troll but i'm getting freaking annoyed now that there are no quests to get. I am level 33, no quests in wild lands no quests any where else its like a brick wall, i hat brick walls. thats what got me off lotro and i do not want it to be repeated. Its like they got the first twenty leveks and didn't really care about the rest of the game. Where are all the quests man?

Whats wrong with this...anyone know? Kind of worried because i have CE.

Hows RPPVP is it any maturer or just another gankfest with 1337 speaking children.

Well I have just bought Age of Conan from my nearest GAME and I have got the CE box but I have no seperate card and the shop guy said that the mammoth should be in the box. Now I know some shop guys and their ignorance at everything so I'm wondering what other GAME european customers have got. Please tell me because i am kind of worried that I will get hom and their won't be any mammoth.

Its human nature to compare something new to something you know even if they are a bit different. The Op has probably played WOW and liked it and wondering how AOC compares to his experience, and you can compare it because they are not that different from each other really if you go down the basics of it.
