Congratulations on winning a 2Moons Closed Beta account from MMORPG.COM!  Although you’ve won first pass access into 2Moons, the build for the Closed Beta version is not ready yet and is still being finalized.  However, we guarantee that you will get immediate entry once CB begins. 

As a rough estimate, we now expect CB testing to begin sometime around January (early 2007).  In the meantime, please make sure you have registered for a free Acclaim account at http://2moons.acclaim.com and signed up for the 2Moons beta test.  We’ll send you another email with an activation page link and instructions once the CB version is ready for action.  Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you in 2Moons!

We are opening the hatches to counselors and memers to join. I want friendly players willing to work together to kick some in-game butt. I plan for us to be huge and am planning a detailed charter and command heirarchy.

The name does nt force you into any profession everyone is free to choose what they want, the name just came from my school where I am pulling the first members from: British Columbia Institute of Technology.

The laws of the guild are all in my head, I'll be adding stuff to the forum after my finals, it's all in the air, so I want suggestions. This will include how voting is to work, and what %s are needed for motions and elections. How elections are started and how meetings will be structured.

You have received this email because you have won access to the Closed Beta.

Thank you for taking the time to read this email. Some time ago you won a spot in the Closed Beta for The Chronicles of Spellborn. When we set up this competition with MMORPG.com we hoped that we would be able to open the Closed Beta to larger numbers somewhere in November this year. As it turned out, we are not quite ready yet. Of course this doesn’t mean that we will push back your Closed Beta access with a few months, but we do need some additional weeks to get things up and running. Our American servers have gone live recently and the first heavy testing on these speed monsters has been completed. Our development team will release a new revision of the game by the end of next week. That new version will be tested and stabilized to function as the platform on which future Closed Beta activities can be planned.

We will keep you updated on the exact date on which you can expect you Closed Beta key. I think it is very safe to assume that access will be granted before the end of the year.

On a side note, we released a new 6 minute trailer today featuring an exclusive song written by Dutch rock formation Within Temptation. You can check out this trailer on http://www.the-howling.com.

We have heard nada about this game and it's hype still sits around 6.9-7.
I have totally lost intrest in following its development, the devs have not said anything public since July 18th.

Vanguard can keep my intrest in it's development because its devs say things... anything...

I agree with the original poster.

There is no reason for people to be soooo upset that they need a sticky. SOE is only co-publishing this game with Sigil, and Sigil is the sole developer with ownership of the intellectual property rights that they bought from Msft.

SOE, even if they really wanted to, can't, modify, add, or remove anything to do with Vanguard: SoH. Only Sigil can do that, and I'm sure Brad (the CEO of Sigil and co-creator of EQ) knows that if they do anything SOE says that the community will tear down the realms pixel by pixel ( :P ).

jk about destroying the world, they will just destroy Brad. :D

I played EQ prolly about a couple months after it came out. I played for 2 months until my parents stopped paying for it. (we were on dial-up and I was about 9)

Anyways, after playing WoW, dumping DnL and being extremely dissapointed with Archlord, I am very excited for Vanguard. I just wish I could get into beta! BCIT, (a tech school in BC), has set up a guild and are waiting very impatiently!
