It's pretty certain that the Preview and Open Beta characters will be wiped. The only ones that carry over would be from the CE Head Start.

No I ment, if the characters from this PW will get saved to open beta.

Will this code be only available from the EA-store or from any retailer?

Even transforming into a bear isn't worth it to order from the EA-store.

Also I hope the bear looks like the Soviet one from the game

EU account center isn't done yet.

We don't know when we will be able to put our codes in either

Healers get renown for every heal they do on other people.

Renown gets smaller / bigger based on the health of your target and / or  he has any other people attacking him.

You can gain 1 renown to 5 renown for each heal.

You must suck at the game then because that is not true at all. With the Engineer I was able to take half the MOBs life by the time it reached me and then finish it off in 2 moves or less with a hammer. If I had a turret, I usually killed them in three shots and that was from levels 4 to 10.

I'm sure he ment that in an RvR encounter.

Runepriests are the pure healers, in PvP you won't be really doing any real damage (maybe dots) since your heals are so much more useful.

I would say the runepriest has more survivability due to alot of HoTs and shield effects. I haven't really played an Archmage in PvP but I've seen them doing some nice damage and heals.

Archmage would be better for 1v1 due to his DPS. But I doubt you will ever do 1v1's

What question is that? They support everything equally.

I've seen way more Archmages than Runepriests on the preview weekend, maybe because some people don't like playing Dwarves.

Also I find it "wierd" that my runepriest did as much damage with his spells as my Shadow Warrior did.

I don't know if this has been asked here. I didn't find anything on search.

If someone could give me some information on Shadow Warriors I would be very grateful.

How is performance on big scale battles?

How is class balance?

Is shadow warrior overpowered?

1. 28th of August. Pre-order program for EU starts by then.

2. Well obviously, since GOA is not really doing a very good job. We don't really know yet if we are going to be able to play on NA servers.

3. You should be, but I guess you will get a NA version.

4. All we can do is guess, but I'm sure NA will outweigh EU, since they have better publishers and support.

I'm sure you can go to the Chaos's place as an Orc without any penalty.

Yes, I think so. It was just added to my account this morning as well.

I had it there since yesterday evening, but I wasn't sure if it truly was the preview weekend.

This is so awesome, never thought I would get my hands on WAR before September arrived!

I did not receive any E-mail, yet I have written "WAR preview" in my account which I didn't have before. Does that mean I'm in?

Wait for 28th of August, the pre-order program for EU will start by then. I sure hope the account center will be done by then aswell.

Witch hunter or a shadow warrior and if I wanted a meele character I would go for a swordmaster.

Mythic is not the one who publishes WAR in Eu.

GOA is the company which published DaoC for Europe back then, and now it publishes WAR. I don't know how to put this but, Mythic and GOA have not communicated together too much , so the European players get less than NA people.

Some GOA guy has said that the open beta will be in place in time, but I highly doubt that.

Also I have no idea if the NA pre-order codes differ from the EU ones. So you might want to try get the codes, you can cancel the pre-order later after you get the codes anyways.

 

Well i have bought a Pre-Order kit, for 10 euro not much money but still, i only bought it to get into the open beta, so i can see what the game has to offer and if i like the combat system etc before i buy the retail game, so if i can't get into open beta then i just gave them free money

Things can still change, just wait until 15th of August, news about OB should come by then.
