NOTE: I no longer enjoy WoW, I only play it because I cant play anything else. LOTRO wont accept my credit card since its based in pakistan, they have places like Sierra Leone and not Pakistan.... Who plays LOTRO in Sierra Leone?

do you mean in 240 hours worth of game time spread out over 3-4 months? Or a week and half after you first logged in? Cause 240 hrs really isnt that impressive, and a week and a half is impossible. And are you talking about lotro pvp or 99% of the other MMo's..i couldnt tell the difference from the description you gave. Very generic. Couldnt even tell if you've played the game to be honest.

 

Who the hell still power games btw? I thought that ended back in EQ when people realised it was just guys trying to impress other guys..and that was...gay.

And I actually enjoy PvMP more than WoW's PvP...

lol, how fun... let me dig up some of my LOTRO screenies if I can find them, a friend and I climbed a mountain just to jump down and die... ya... true story!!!

Skill based = a noob can still do damage to a  pro... meaning the pro wont keep blocking dodging parrying like a fight between a level 1 and a level 70 in WoW.

Level based is more or less explained in my first statement :)

So.. Thats why Skill based > Level based in my opinion.

Looks like another Free to Play Item Shop based Asian grinder to me...

But anyhow, enjoy the game if you're liking it :)

I hate how what the some of the online community has become. the new thing seems to call everything bad "jewish" or their a "jew" if they arent that great and i hate that. Ill often report that kind of stuff on Live becuase that is extremely offensive to me. I will often find myself leaving groups in MMOs or leaving parties on live becuase of this crap.

Oh ok but PvP games tend to have a more mature community, because the noobs just keep dying and quit. Hah...

And anyway, yeah I agree... that happened to me A LOT, "LOL OMG U GOT US WIPED STUPID JEW" that was in a karazhan pug (World of warcraft endgame instance with random people, not a guild) because the guy failed to heal anyone and blamed me for having bad tanking...

Yea Arkane it does look a bit fishy.... the site doesn't work, and the text in one of the pictures says "www.war-europe.com/collectorsedition" and theres nothing there so.. HMMMM.

Whatever it is, I cant wait to play the game and buy the collectors edition :P

Ok so let me start off by saying im 15.

Now, im my honest opinion, no... you're not too old for MMO's.... I feel the same way, the communities usually are filled with .. well ... idiots.

Theres some mature kiddies too, but thats just a fraction of them.

I started playing WoW on my 13th birthday (The day my exams ended and the day I got my first very own computer and the day I started playing WoW) and got into a guild at level 60 (Pre-TBC) and we started raiding Onyxia and Molten Core etc... So our guild got a lot better, ofcourse some arrogance appeared etc and they put a 18+ age limit on the guild. A LOT of people were kicked out, and when I said I was only 13 (Or I turned 14 then, im not sure) they were shocked and thought I was over 18.

Now my point being, not all kiddies are immature but most are.

Anyway, the only GOOD community i've seen so far is in Lord of the Rings Online.

If you're dying, someone WILL help you out.

Give it a go, you might enjoy it.
