I played this game an hour or two but I got bored. Simply because it reminded me of 9Dragons (the swordfighting at least) and in my opinion Acclaim did a better job than AeriaGames. So I say if you want to download the game because of the Martial Arts, don't, get 9Dragons instead.

If you're wondering "should I download this game or not?" first ask yourself 2 things:

1. Are you tired of the current MMORPG's and waiting for the new ones to be released?

2. Are you mature and would you like to play with mature people (mostly adults)?

If the answer is "Yes" to both questions you should download this game.
Let me make this clear: I had absolutely nothing with golf before I started playing the game. The game itself isn't very special graphic or content wise. But just hanging around talking to nice people and shooting that little ball far, far and far away is a great way to relax and have fun.

Game Campus organises big tournaments about once a month where you can win ingame money and items. They also use rankings (based on these tournaments) so if you feel like climbing the rankings like the legendary Tiger Woods you can go all out in this game. This keeps the game fresh and challenging.

One warning for the people that want to level up fast and become one of the top players: this is not going to happen. For example: an 18-hole course with 4 players takes 2-3 hours to complete and will get you from level 2 to level 7. But if you play one at level 20 you will have to play 3 or 4 18-hole courses to level up.
There are a total of 100 levels so gear up; this is going to be a long picknick. But like I said: this game is for relaxing, having fun and outting your aggression on the little white ball.

I'm downloading the game right now. Thanks for the recommendation and I hope it's just as fun as you say it is. I will make sure to put your name on my sign up form and if you still play I will add you!

EDIT: I did not have to fill out your name in the registering proces.

I played VCO for an hour but I stopped playing because every time I walk I get this back and forth twitching. Like it's lagged or rewinding and fast forwarding after.

So I tried BBO (just to found it it's the exact same game) and had the exact same twitch in it! Does anybody recognize this and know how to fix it? I tried everything with the graphic options (even tho' I have Dual Core and 8600GT GeForce) but nothing helps.

I really like the concept of the game so I wanna play it more. But come on, with that twitch every time I walk I would have to be super natural not to get an epileptic attack sometime while playing the game.

I'm from Europe, but I want to play the game so bad that I'm currently trying out all programs which allow you to mask your IP and take on a false one. Tried Hot Spot shield too, but didn't work for me. Working on Ninja Surfing now. It gave me an USA IP but I still couldn't log in. Currently changing some settings and it's looking for a Proxy. I'm not going to give up!

EDIT: I tried Hot Spot Shield again and it worked! I can play now! Everyone use it!

I saw the trailer of Aion and I was actually stunned. I seriously can't wait to play the game but I guess we'll have to wait till the end of 2008 to do it

I just hope they don't screw us European players over like a lot of developers do by making a Closed Beta for NA but not Europe. Mabinogi is just one example.

I wanna thank you a lot Towyn! You did some good researching and this might help out all of the Europan players (with an NA account) who wanna try out Mabinogi. I'm currently working but when I have some time off I'm gonna try your idea. I'll post my findings here within let's say 72 hours

I've tested SotNW! It took me 9 hours total to download, install and patch (longest 9 hours ever). BUT it's totally worth it in my opinion. I was very pleased with the graphics and the Baroque style they use for not only the buildings but also the weapons and the armour. I would definately recommend this game to you so go ahead and download it. You will not regret it if you're looking for a refreshing MMO that's easy to learn.

Having an NA account does NOT work. I tried it but the game still blocks you when it checks your IP-adress. It will not let you login if you have an European IP. Guess we'll have to wait.

I'm downloading right now. I will let you know my findings in an hour or 8. I wanna make sure my opinion is based on some hours of playing

I am currently downloading the game client. I've been downloading for 3 hours now and I still have 2.5 hours more to go. But this Topic makes me kinda sad. It seems that all people really do is bash the game and making me think that I'm downloading the game for nothing. But... I've come this far, sacrificed time and bandwidth for this... I will play the game, just to get an impression off it. I seriously hope you guys are wrong and that this game will become my new MMO addiction!

Read my Edit. Even if you have an NA account the game will check your IP-adress and still won't allow you to play

I think this game is worth a try. I've played it for a few hours now and what I like most about the game are the grapics (they look very good compared to some other MMO's around). Also it's not very hard to make money since you can sell almost every item that drops from mobs to player shops. I played for 5 hours and already made 25k ingame currency purely by selling my items to players.

So I'd have to say: give this game a try, it's refreshing and it's easy to come up in the World of Kung Fu.

I'm from Europe but I've found a way to play it. I used to play MapleStory when it was still controlled by Wizet. People from Europe could create an account still. When Nexon gained control they banned everyone except North America from making an account. But I could still play. I can also use that MapleStory account to play this game. So people if you have an MapleStory account laying somewhere use it for this game!

EDIT: I installed it and wanted to login but got the error 'not a service area'. So even if you have a valid account it still checks your IP-adress :(
