dont get me wrong . i m not trolling i think conan looks like a great game . if only it ran well enough on my system to play it .

i have the same pc as you but i got vista and i run 40 fps on med settings in aoc after this last patch,

yep but being locked out of stealth for actions you arn't even in control of doesn't make sense :S. i can't stealth cuase someone that i can't see and is on the other side of the map decided to attack someone.  kinda broken logic there.

 

And yeah, forgot about that. Was going to write it but uh o.o

That one thing bugs me the most. If my allies are 400 metres away from me (let's say it like that) and decides to enter combat. I should be able to stealth because im not in combat at all. I hope they will fix just that one issue. Then im satisfied with being an assassin :3

i'm all for a timer or something or a line of sight for stealth it'll help me for killing runners, instead of them just going stealth right in front of my eyes.

it really adds another layer, when all classes in game can stealth so you never actually know if there is another person learking around waiting for you to take the bait. :D the baiting tatic in the beta works really well.

yea fatalites are up. i've been getting them alot. kinda dangerous tho, seeing as how you get a 20% dmg buff with a fatality and a bunch of stamina but fun to watch.

i'm ready for the pvp event! wish they'd tell us when the servers are gunna come back up.

overall i'd say the patch was very well done by funcom. about 99% of the people in game that i've talked to said it was an imporvement.

truely the best patch ever. my fps went from .5 to 40 no matter what i do i can't drop my fps. it's truely amazing

it's not a cooldown but in fact a group combat. if one member is in combat then all members of your group are in combat.

 

it's a retarded function. totally kills the assassins survivability in pugs. basicly meaning you can't stealth for over 70% of the game. a cooldown after leaving a battle would be a better fix.

 

if it stays as it is you might as well just roll a ranger for thier crazy amout of hp and medium armor. making them a soilder survivability with the dps of a rogue.

the pvp is all about groups. if you don't work together you'll never win. most people join a mini game just to mess around and kill people. but stick it out and hope for a group that wants to win, if that's really what you want.

We can speculate about post level 20 combat. All you need to do is some simple research, you think mechanics will somehow drastically change for no reason? The root will also becomes a 20 second root at higher level and I see no root break ability on any of the guardian or conqueror feets

If you played the pvp beta or watch some videos you would know what I'm talking about, this game is not complicated, the only thing that changes when you gain levels is your damage for most melee classes, the soldiers get zero CC breakers, and classes need to be balanced by lvl 20, not until lvl 80

i was in the pvp beta and i'm in the open beta now, only doing pvp games since i'm lvl 13. i was an assassin for both. :D i was agreeing that roots seemed to be overpowered at that lvl. :) i just would like to wait until i know more about pvp before saying something needs to be nerfed. expecially since it's not even launced yet.

what class did you play in pvp beta?

rangers don't have the same 1 shot ability that they had in the pvp beta. but they still have amazing survivablity. rangers can have more hp then a concorer, but mainly the maps gives rangers an advantage most of the time, in the mini games at least.

stuns are still an instant win. 12 sec stuns will get you killed no matter what. once you cast a spell it will always go through, no matter what. you could run past 2 walls and 100 yards but still will get hit by it.

every melee class can get a stun proc but it's very short. kiting melee is still a big problem. you can kite a melee endlessly untill your able to stealth again. hell you could kite a caster till you get stealth, just a bit harder.

 

most of what he quoted is still a problem. but balance always takes time, and we haven't really seen anything about end game pvp so who knows if anything needs fixing. of course theres always some tweaking to be done.
