So far Rohan Online seems to be decent. Ive only played it a day though. Most  f2p games dont last past the first 10 minutes.   I wish Shin Megami Tensei online was in English. Ive been playing it in Japanese and I have to use the online guides which sucks.

omg....there is a smt online....i love the smt series...ahhh

Yup I heard rumors that It is coming to America, I sure hope it does the game is bad ass even in Japanese.

I guess not, so why is playing HKO for kids?

I liked the community, the graphics and atmosphere but without something to look forward to an MMORPG dies. Not a bad game but it's 2008, many years after it was made. Wait for Warhammer online if you like PvP or just play WoW for raiding (although it has no incentive... not much I can say about that).

did you use a keynoard or controller. game is desighned to be played with a game pad

it has always been that way with soe

Nope, so I just guess you are here lying. Or?

dont call me a liar. i know what im talking about,

go to the official forums and ask for yourself

Really is no need to to that. You are stating that it always have been that way with SOE.

Which obviously it is not.

And not.

So either you are lying or yoy don't really know. Pick whatever you feels fit. Or you could answer to when they changed this.

still. does not work that way. in the forums people are always charged for the free month. what they say is not whay always happens

Don't you think it would be better if you just admitted to not know instead of persist upon saying something that is not true. The only way you could prove you are right is by saying when they changed it.

i do know. plese do not piss me off. station pass never works properly. people are alway charged for the free month. SOE  never give people there money back

Station pass is when you pay one month for all games on the account, hence adding a new game don't give the 30 days. Because they are already payed for.

So you still doesnt know.

i meant staion acess....for the love of god get it into your head. staion ascess is broken,

+ $1 for every additional char

but if you sign up for the 9.99/mo deal now it is for life (while acct is in good standing)

its a one off payment of one dollar. but you dont need alts in ff as you can change your job ( class) any time with the same alt

Actually you are incorrect, it is $1 per extra character per month. Ie. two characters = 13.99 / mo, 3 char is 14.99/mo etc. And while you can get by on one you will soon find that you need mule characters.

With that stated I would just like to say that I love FFXI. And obviously am considering my lifetime sub for LOTRO I was a founder and chose to to sub.. so I am looking at the lifetime sub now as a possible option since I have heard alot of good things about the game of late.

xXSeraphielXx

havent played ffxi in a long time...forgot that :)

I don't think they are having that problem if they got 40 mil for investors. People believe the are doing well. Still popping out plenty of content regularly and an expansion every year. I'd say all is good at Turbine.

its only a year old though. in 2-3 years time they may have problems

I thought the lifetime sub was great.  For $199 - I can play the game with any free updates until the servers shut down.  Not too shabby  :)

Same here. Plus, with the lifetime sub, I can bounce in and out of the game at will, or play other games, without the additional cost of another sub fee. It's great. I paid Turbine once and never have to do it again.

I wish more games would offer a lifetime sub, quite frankly. It's a good idea, I think.

its not good long term for a business to do.
its very risky

money now > money later

At a conservative 5% APY, Turbine could invest the $199 you give them and get ~$16 interest in 20 months (The amount of time needed for a $199 subscription to cost less than a $9.99/mo. subscription).  So, it really takes 22 months (20 + $16/$9.99) for a subscriber to recoup their outlay.

That's only for players who play 22 months straight, for people who come-and-go it takes even longer.

I'd also bet that Turbine's ROC (Return on Capital) is far greater than 5%.

no money later= no lotro
