I'll almost gurantee that they won't have a beta this year with real people from the public play testing. Even if it's a closed beta.

Tasos showed up to that Greek game developers conference with a recorded video that was 1 year old and another fly by video showing some buildings that was a few months old.

Why didn't he just show up with the game client and a PC and login to the game world from there??

Meh the poll would of been better with Dark and Light considering they made about 500 grand off their pre order to play pioneer scam...... and considering I was an idiotic pioneer. Good thing for chargebacks,

Will 2008 be the end of it all when they do not launch and do not deliver a beta?  Fore sure any credibility they might have had left would be completely gone even in the eyes of the fanbois at that point...

And the fact that Warhammer is coming out in 2008 doesn't help them any either..

The fact that Aventurine isn't trying to just shows how stupid they truly are. They have zero business sense and zero common sense for that matter.

They do not have the money or man power or skill to make a game like Darkfall plain and simple.

World of Warcraft cost 40 mill and 100 guys to make. Even if you cut WoW's cost in HALF that's still 20 million dollars.  Even if you cut THAT in half , that's still 10 million dollars.

Self funded Aventurine does NOT have 10 mill or 20 mill or 40 mill dollars which is what is required to make a game anywhere near what Darkfall wants to be.

I don't get why they need to release a video next month. Why couldn't they just have released the video this month?

Why is everything always so fucking complicated and drawn out with this thing when it doesn't need to be? 

I mean seriously.. Is it really that hard to have 2 people sit down for two days to put together a video?

Hell is it that hard to have one person sit down for 10 minutes and hit record and upload?

Why does it take 6+ weeks to do that?

sometimes I sniff my finger after inserting it into strange places.

I don't got any problem with playing Darkfall if it's good...   Hell I would probably even pre order it if they gave me a Beta to log into after pre ordering..

but right now they're still where they always were.. in some kind of development limbo.
