3. Are they going to provide new content for casuals players who dont raid or hate pvp?

4.Are casual players going to be paying for alot more content they will never see, as in the current norm?

5. Are we going to see alot more tedious faction grind bs?

I smell a troll

The economy is fine in the game.  I don't know what they could 'repair'.

Crafting is very useful in the game.  Do you know any lvl 60+ characters that dont' have 2 professions? The fact that everyone bothers to do them shows that they are useful.  You tell me a craft, and I'll show you the reason to level it :)

3. Um..  yeah, there are like 50, 5 man dungeons, heroics and dailys.  Show me another game that has more content for max level players who don't want to be part of big groups or pvp.

4.  Actually,  the opposite is true.  Do you know that there isn't a single piece of content that 25man raids will see that smaller groups can't see?

5.  What is tedius? doing quests, running dungeons?   that is all you have to do to get reputations.

If you don't like to pvp, to raid, to craft, to do dungeons or to quest.. then WOW probably isn't the game for you.

Crafting is usefull in the game? I think it is...does everyone post 60 have it? HELL NO..alot of people dont bother to pick up crafting.  In fact some proffesions are downright useless. The WOW economy actually is not fine. Gold sellers/spammers/gold guides and daily quests making it easy to get gold ahs sent the economy in a inflation frenzy. Yes WoW is tedius..you can grind gear in BG's and the gear you get wont get you into a raid..however Blizzard has said that you can get raid equivelant gear by doing PVP or PVE. Sure you get epics..but players wont invite you becuase of the stat differences. 50 5 man dungeons that most are never used anymore...because fewer and fewer people want to level 1-70 let alone 1-80.

you smell a troll..i smell a fanboy.

Wow is a great game..but lets face it..the game is basically a non-stop gear grind.  And some people are just sick of gear grinding and dealing with immature communities.

You can break down WaR into 3 major parts...PvE,RvR, and scenarios...out of those 3 they get 1 right, 1 meh and 1 really boring. how can this be considered a A+ title?

RVR: many many RvR areas are complete ghost towns on my full server "Slyvania". When they do happen they are *ok* sadly most keeps change hands during the wee hours of the morning/night. on *any* server look at your map during prime time most locations stay uncontrolled. and honestly nobody cares?

Scenarios: well these are fun, some are great some kinda suck but on the whole my best times in war were made in these.

PVE: basic very very basic. PQ's get really really bland as you move on. chances are if you are running on a path and you see just a mob of monsters standing around you will know you just passed by another empty PQ. PQ's are sound great and work great in T1, as you move through T2 and T3 you see that they are just a poor mans dungeon. Get a big empty field spawn waves of monsters, rinse and repeat

so thats it, if you enjoy queuing into scernarios over and over and over you will like WaR. other than that there is nothing to this game...its fun but i can already see im not gonna make it through my first month.

sigh.....

Hey I would get ya Flameproof suit on quick .... think I just spotted an army of Bright Wizards heading your way !!

yeah im sure, but im not flamming or trolling. Im just looking for a *fun* mmo to play.

But when i log into WaR since it launched this is what i have been doing.

Grind Nordenwatch T1

Grind Mournkain T2

Grind Tor T3

with *maybe* a dash of RvR and some boring PQ's mixed in

If you are already considering the game as  grind this early..then you cannot enjoy it obviously.  Grind is a term used when a player doesnt enjoy their time playing an MMO at all. Every MMO out there has a "grind" to it depending on the person and their psyche.  Find out what you want in an MMO first...once you figgure that out post it and get a suggestion from other players...try out the games and see if they have what you want in it.  Are the PQ's boring? No.  Are we grinding SC's to level? Some are...I know i play them...but cant say its a grind for me because I have alot of fun playign with my guild and friends.  Open RVR sucky?  Well the game is still new and most players are still leveling up and enjoying the game for its quests/lore.  Since the game offers so much no one is in a rush to level.

I suggest you find some friends online (not trying to insult here) and start grouping up together for everything the game has to offer.

If my suggestion doesnt help for WAR then I think you should post what your looking for in an MMO..so far i can tell you that WAR offers alot more then any other MMO so far in the market at launch.  Only great things to come.  But if it isnt the game for you. I wish you good luck.

P.S. Also check out AION: Tower of Eternity.

scenarios benefit the single player far more than they do the war.  You can't lock down a Tier by doing scenarios at all infact their over all contribution to the war effort is negligible.  Here in lies the problem because Scenarios are worth more xp & renown then they should be (but not more than Open)  most people are going to stupidly grind them with little care to helping out the war.  If this trend continues on into Tier 4 we'll either never see End game or End Game will happen everyday because there's no one there to defend thus keeping Cities at a constant level 1 and locking out high end content to both sides.

Not to mention the worse case scenario you get to T4 and half the people around you have no idea how to do anything in Open RvR because they didn't participate in it at all until T4.

Scenarios need to be nerfed, not removed because they are fun but Nerfed.

Mythic released that Scenarios do controbute to the war btw. Its in one of the Podcasts with that awesome british guy I think his name is Paul..he explains it in there. Open RVR helps alot more..but SC also helps..just not as much..is it negligible?  Good question..I dont know the exact amount it contributes but i think like Open rvr is 70% and id say SC's are perhaps 15% and PVE/PQ's that have to do with RVR are about 15% (these are a guestimate ofcourse)

I understand that the WoW crowd expects instanced, insta-satisfaction, but it is a complete detriment to the game. It matters not one bit if they're fun or well done if it kills the whole purpose of the game.

Destruction classes are not OP, I have characters on Order and Destruction, the classes are very balanced.  Im glad you died in an RVR zone many times but that doesnt mean that the classes are OP...that just means you need to work on your pvp skills....or that the other side got the drop on you..get over it.  Please dont post that one side is OP over another just cause you die...get some facts post them and explain why you think so...otherwise im likely to think your just another type of person from WoW who feels it necessary to nerf everything because you keep dying.

During prime time playing hours...i see most servers at med/ful or full/que.  Its too early to merge. If you dont want to wait for more players to join...considering the game just came out...move your lazzy selves to full/full servers.

This statement is false.  Every class can win against every class.  Tanks dont always loose to healers and they cant always take melee dps...sorry i have played one of every class to at least 12 to prove that statement...obviously in higher levels i cant say but for the most part thats the case.  Also healers cant be killed as easily by tanks in lower levels only because tanks dont really start to shine till about around 11-12...healers start to become more squishy the higher the game gets.

I dont know about Darkfall, however i can vouch that WAR is alot of fun. As far as AION...i love the concepts they are putting in the game...and it looks really really really good.  I hope Aion does very well so i can play both WAR and AION ^_^

Why do any pve play when the exp and rewards are a joke? Its way easier to get good gear doing pvp, and apparently if ,god forbid, u wanna lvl you will do better just farming scenarios. I mean why didnt they just make some bgs and some sort of lobby like battlenet ? They need to make pve/pqs as rewarding as pvp and frankly get rid of scenarios altogether. I Didnt like bgs in wow and i like them even less in war!

PVE/PQ/Open RVR have the best rewards in game actually.  You can loot legendary items off enemies in Open RVR...also the keeps give you bonuses when you capture and hold them.  But for example lets all pretend to agree with you and say Scenaros give the best rewards (which is far from the truth). To purchase your reknown gear from SC grinding, you need to capture the enemies capital city for the highest purchasable armor.  So when you do open rvr not only do you build up reknown/experiace/and epic loots but it allows you to open up the enemy city for capture thus allowing you to buy that great gear from the Reknowned Merchants. Warhammer BG's are different as well depending on the tier...they have alot of them.  BG's in WoW are a joke so please dont compare the two.

Yeah um, are you guys playing the same game?  Every class can take any other class if you play smart. This game is more geared in group strategy skirmishes. But seriously every class can 1v1 the other if you play well.  Skill is a major factor in this game and gear is second to it...60% skill 40% gear dependency.  I dont care who you are, you cannot just automatically assume because you see a class from a distance that you can automatically beat them.

Usually if I see a tank and im a ranged caster lets say, I wont try to fight the tank when he knows im there...ill usually follow him and attack from a distance first, root rinse and repeat.  There is a strategy to kill every class in WAR.  Rock Paper Scissors = / = WAR

Marauder class is meant to be dps, so yes its difficult to get to the squishies...but thats why you need to be tactical in this game.  Its not like WoW where a warrior with 16k hp can rush the squishies and wale on them for 45 seconds before they die.  Usually if you have like an offhealer acompany you it makes it easier. Like a DOK (Deciple of Khaine).

Magus:  I played one to rank 2, so i cant comment on this class

Engineer: I played one untill level 12, and i have fought a level 20 before..they are a very very good class.  They do loads and loads of damage...you just have to learn how to play them correctly.

*advice*...at least what has worked for me.  Stay with the healers you are essentually protecting them from ambushes from WE and the sort.  Set up  a turret since the gun one has a 100 foot range.  And just throw down heavy fire on injured enemies...if you can get a Healer or Ranged DPS while staying near your healers...then thats great.  Thats basically how they are played...the Magues i assume is the same playstyle.  They are used more for defensive...imagine a group of engineers guarding a keep?  That is insane...it would be so difficult to take it trust me....my angy was averaging 15-40k damage per SC depending on how well the team played.

The most important thing I got from that Patch update...is that Mythic is listening to the players request, that in itself is the most important thing.  Everything else will come in time.

A healer should heal because that is their Job in the team. They wouldn't have put that class in if it wasn't part of the over all strategy. Now some healers are just made to sit back and heal. Shamans if you throw in a bit of dps you can heal for more.

I was in a scenario last night and got dropped down to 2 hp, I ran back to 2 healers that didn't heal me. So i started jumping to try and get their attention, still nothing. So I asked in chat still nothing. I was sitting at 2 hp for over a minute until I finally got a heal. I was still trying to harass the destructions  healers so they couldn't heal their teamates.  I also saw this WP hiding in a corner AFK that just pisses me off. If they would actually play they would get more XP.  I can easy get 10k xp per scenario if we win.

Report them, there is an option in the CSR tab for XP/Renown farming.

Oh nice I didn't know you could report them.

good thing is, even if they are AFK...unlike a WOW BG like AV...they get no points...or exp...or renown in fact they are just a waste of space.

You get the same amount of Rp / XP for healing as you do damage there is no difference.   Healers should heal and do damage to maximize their points.  My friend rarely bothers with attacking anyone unless they attack him (or he's playing a healer that's heals are based off his attacks)  and he's leveled way faster than I ever could.  Why people bother playing a healer and not healing is beyond me if you don't want to damn heal don't play a healer...this is why pugs lose because healers won't heal, they won't rez its a nightmare really.

O I love healing, but I also like to see my renown rank rising, and when I heal, I get almost only the half of the renown when I dps (kinda crazy). + Skilled on dmg I can do quests in the breaks between two scenarios (since all quests are solo quests, I cant kill mobs by healing them)

What toon are you playing?  If your ONLY healing yea you'll get half and if your ONLY DPSIng your completely worthless to your team you get way more Renown for actually WINNING the Scenario and its impossible to Win Without Healers.

My friend plays a Shaman and exclusively heals while doing DPS on the side he tends to max his Renown several times faster than I can.   If your playing a DoK it explains it since they're DPS first Healer Second (worthless clothie peices of shit in my opinion but whatever).

People only worried about themselves are the reason WAR Scenarios suck to participate in with a Pug.

Bingo!  You just described 70% of the people playing the game.

That's why you should, I don't know, talk to the people that are good, and possibly group up with them.  One solid group of people can make all the difference.

to the OP:   I understand completely where your comming from.. i actually got that problem starting with WoW.  I coudnt log on my character, or when i did I really felt like I was wasting my time.  I think one of the problems is that communities/guilds arent what they used to be for MMO's anymore.  I suggest trying to find a casual/family/friends guild or a guild that aspires to your type of play style.  That always helps me when I find people that enjoy the same things I do.  But yes I have had the same issue with Warhammer, only my problem was more of what to play because I enjoy so many of their classes.  However I understand that game can get a little boring every now and then...which is fine because in the long run this game has the end game ive been waiting for.  If your still bored, maybe you should play less often...i mean the game takes a while to play from 1-40 (if you have a life).

This game runs out of fun very quick I think it feels very much like a single player game.  The graphics are not much better then WOW. Except WOW is alot more fun then Warhammer. The ai is horrible mobs are floating they run back and forth for no reason. This game has alot of the same problems I think AOC has it doesnt feel like you are in a world. Except Conan does have great graphics and fun game play. I think even LOTRO is better then this game.  The Armor all looks the same at most levels and even at higher levels it all looks close and the bugs are worse at the higher levels. I have no reason to just hate this game in fact the opposite I really wanted this game to be good. I bought it and paid for 60 days. I posted a negative review when I was about level 10 and I thought maybe it wasnt fair to do that so early so I went on to level 40 and I feel the same. This game is a huge dissapointment.

Good job dude. I think the same exact way on everything you just have expressed in this paragraph. This game is so boring, non existent RvR ever, just one big battle ground 24/7. The world doesn't even look like its a mmo world, it looks like a huge battle ground then you pop into another "battle ground". What a big dissapointment this game was. Even the factions sides are unblanced to the exstreme, I am sorry but that is not fun. Getting steam rolled by 5,000 destruction against 200 order is a BIG let down. No way I am leveling again all the way up after the third time due to population and faction imbalance. Oh well i'll just wait for a next gen game to come out with originality and concept.

Warhammer has originality and concept, its not the games fault that you fail to see it. The faction sides are unbalanced to the extreme?  REALLY that was funny, i mean seriously. I have seen order groups crush destruction, and ive seen it the other way around.  Most importantly I have noticed that zerging doesnt always work, especialyl not against a good group that works like a well oiled machine.  Sorry the 5k vs 200 scenario isnt always the case. The game does have RVR if you go and look for it, especially once you start hitting the Keep Tiers like in 2-4.  However you prob arent high enough otherwise you would prob not even post that.

Actually you are wrong. Ive played order sense day one and we get steam rolled, destruction getting steam rolled by order?, are you kidding me?, now that is a LAUGHING MOMENT. And yes I am level 40 so my opinion does count on all counts. What originality?, the same exact crap that we have seen for the last 11 years of mmos?. Please dude, Ive played every mmo out and you surely don't know what the hell you are talking about. Oh yeah I have looked for RvR World PvP, but guess what?, it doesnt exsist because everyone and there momma is doing battle grounds aka World of hammergrounds.

Ah yes, ofcourse I am wrong because your level
