give vanguard a try. lots of content with some of the best graphics for an mmo. I think it fits what you are looking for

i have a 5 month old and come home from work every day while my wife leaves for work to watch my son and im capable of watching him and playing AOC or madden on a regular basis. its not hard just learn your kids schedule. have em close to you so you can interact with them while playing your game babies dont require a whole lot and they are quite easy once you get used to the basics

combat animations are too boring for me much like WoW. the game does have some cool features but combat to me is numero uno and that just didnt cut it for me. I do agree the game is here to stay. Im sure many others will like this game. I guess im gonna go back to AOC till something else comes along

im in born in chaos on deathwhisper my guild is one of the elite guilds on the server and we are all very content in AOC still. we are almost done with our tier 2 city and we have almost 60 active members. we are more of an adult guild with a more casual style of gameplay. never the less we are either at level 80 or close to it. i think we got 6 lvl 80s and about 25 ppl in the 70s. i dont know though i havent noticed much of a dip in player base but ppl quitting is bound to happen in any game. regardless im having fun with my guild so thats all that matters

all other games to play AOC for it is awesome lvl 64 and lovin it!!

actually that makes pretty good sense. why do you feel the need to tell someone how to review like you know everything. I thought his review was good and he summed it up just fine
 

i think the devs should just have there own coin system much like ncsoft presented and offer cheaper price than gold sellers. Players are gonna buy it whether we like it or not yes i think its a cheap way to play the game but thats a personal preference. I will continue to go about earning my coin but if the dev team offers a way for players ot purchase stuff than at least i wont have to worry about getting spammed anymore cause im sure this solution is gonna kill the business of gold sellers

yeah pretty sad that all the AOC haters are mad cause they dont have a game to play so they make accounts on here to bring the rating down on the game. people that do that need to get a life.

Its funny how many of you on this site think AOC is failing fast when Im in game and the pop is growing rapidly and I have friends i havent talked to since HS that are joining the game. the game is doing very well unfortunately the 20 or so ppl on this site that have quit are making it seem like this game is losing a lot of ppl which is not the case at all. whatever though the game is doing good which is good for the mmo genre in my perspective.

AOC isnt just steak its filet mignon and if cooked right its the best steak youll ever have. commence with the flaming flamers

played this game for about 5 months at launch and thought it had a lot of potential to be a great game only problem is the lack of content and how repetetive it gets. Ive been trying to keep an eye on it to see how the updates are going but they havent seemed to add much of the content they said they would and I dont think this game is gonna make it if they dont add a lot of content soon

games are first and foremost meant to be fun and this game is a lot of fun. Yes there is work to do but overall im having a lot of fun in the game.you say we shouldnt accept an mmo being unfinished but no mmo has ever released flawlessly. why am i gonna expect something that no company has done with this genre of games
 

so far ive counted 20 ppl renewing in this thread and 8 ppl not make it 21 cause i definitely renewed. maybe the hate for the game on this site isnt as bad after all

judging by what the op is saying my experience with VG early this year and that this game has roughly 35k subs only i dont think this game is gonna last for more than another year. I mean its been out for a year and a half now and it still has these kind of issues...pathetic

Honestly, how would you the players make a UI thats better?

As for classes, totally different from the generic ones WoW has.  Colors and graphic design this game is much more realistic feeling.  Oh and getting Exp for killing people PvP!  Fun!

And WoW didn't invent instances, DAoC had them and so did AO.

 

I like how you are trying to prove my opinions wrong. the overall feeling i got from those videos is that it looks like the WoW sequal and not the next stage in mmo developement. nothing in that game screams that. I played WoW for 2 years and I dont want to play that game or any game that reminds me of it
 

 

Its obvious you played wow for 2 years.

The first thing you compare this game to is WoW.  Which is probably the only MMO you've played.  You relate to what you know.

When I look at warhammer I see elements of many games in it.

Which is also what I see when I look at WoW.

I started playing mmos since EQ. let me dumb this down for you it looks to me like they took a game copy of WoW and just upgraded the graphics. that is my opinion fanboy. no one said you had to like it but your not gonna change it so get over it

vanguard=boredom. great graphics in an uncreative world. seriously i dont see how ppl can like that world its horrible. tried it 2 months ago waste of money then and still is now dont play this game nuff said
