Asmodian all the way! I love the dark gloomy look of the asmodians, I tend to favor the dark myself so I think that is the main reason im gonna pick them haha. I dont know what it is about the elyos but they just really bug me....

Why do people have to troll? Everyone is not the same and we never will be. You may like games like Darkfall or WoW, but we like games like Aion. Just leave it at that and leave these forums. Stop trying to convert us to your games cause it wont work, it will however just end up pissing people off. If you do have a question about the game just post it in a non-hostile way and we will answer you in a kind and respective way.

I just hate it when people come to these fourms and post stupid ass comments like "oh this game is just another WoW clone." or "Just another Korean Grindfest.". it makes me sad to see how stupid and ignorant some people are. if your going to say shit about a game do some research on it then come here and post.

I will admit this game is a little bit like WoW, but then again what game isnt?  it has been stated thousands of times before that Aion isnt really anything new its just taking stuff from other games and improving them, and throwing in a new feature in every now and then. like the stigma system, and the fact you can take stats from one set of armor and put them on another. This game isnt trying anything new instead its just playing it safe. this game looks like its going to be a nice Solid Game. So those who want to play a game that isnt going to fall apart on them i would look into this.

And for those who say this is just another asian grinder LOL. this also has been stated that this game is going for a more weastern style game (questing and such). so plz All people who come to these fourms PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ PLZ do some research instead of just leaving stuipid ignorant comments.

ROFL you havent looked into this game much have you? this game yes is like WoW but then again WHAT GAME ISNT. its hard not to make a game like wow.... Aion takes features from alot of different games and puts them all in one and then improves them. this game doesnt really have any new features but it has all the ones from good games like WoW and puts them in it. this game isnt "just another WoW clone" like most ignorant people who havent even looked into the game say.  this game IS going to be a breath of fresh air for the most part.  

the best way to find out info on a game is do some research go to google and just spend about an hour or two looking into the game and you will find out a bunch about it

yeah lol it would be nice. also there is no beta only preview events. also you should look around before you post stuff cause you can always get it easily if you just look around on the internet or around these fourms.

ROTFL how can you say vanguard has better graphics than aion? the character models in vanguard look G.I. Joe Dolls and move like them too. have you even watched any videos of aion? cause i highly doubt you have.

I love raiding, its my favorite part about a game. I used to play WoW and i  main tanked for my guild when we raided and i loved it. I was in a Decent guild with really cool people and they were all really friendly and laid back. We played the game to have fun. of course at times though we were serious but even when your having fun you need to be serious sometimes. it wasnt the best raiding guild but we did ok and we got in to some SSC before i quit WoW. but raiding is my favorite aspect of game. it sounds like you guys were just in really bad guilds full of greedy people.

if im not mistaken didnt japan release Final Fantasy XI? and FFXI has a major grind in it from what i hear. im not sayin that all asian games are big grinders, im just sayin  japan does release mmorpgs... and the majority of games that come from asia do have a bit of a grind. Aion though isnt suppose to have a grind.

As an ex WoW player i have to say WoW was one of my favorite games to play. to me it sounds like you just wanted to do raids to get gear and be "uber". to me i love Raiding in games, cause to me its a good way to get together with friends in a guild and go kill bosses and the loot is just a plus. and you say raiding isnt challenging? HAH. is that why it took my guild almost a month and a half just to get past Karazhan and get it on farm status? raiding takes alot of strategy and coordination. And since Burning crusade came out raids are much smaller so your chances of getting loot increases alot.  Also yeah it sucks when someone else in a raid gets something over you. but it depends on how your guild distributes the loot. my guild gave out the loot to the ones who needed it most. so say you have an epic sword and some other guy only has a Rare sword. and a really Nice epic sword drops and both of you want it. the guy with the blue sword has priority. Do you really have a right to complain. To me it was fair so when ever i lost loot to someone else i said Grats to the guy that won and kept on playing the game. But that was just the way my guild did things, and every guild is different. also you dont have to raid to get good gear, you can do PvP in the game, or you can also do arenas and get really good pvp gear. yeah all this takes time but to me thats a good thing. cause i dont wanna walk around and see every single person in really good gear and all looking the same.  and to get faction rep you can just kill mobs, or you can do daily quests and get lots of money from doing so along with the rep. to me it just sounds like your an impatient little kid that wants to get all his gear really quickly with no effort. im not gonna say i had fun all the time while i raided and quested for faction rep, but it in the end it all payed off. i play games to have fun, and i had fun while playing WoW. I no longer play WoW do to Real life issues and if i could i would go back to the game and play right now. So stop your bitchin about grinds cause there isnt a single game out there with absolutly no grind what so ever. and game developers copy WoW cause look at its success, its the most played MMORPG out there. if you dont like the game dont play it. yeah WoW is designed to keep players playing. but isnt that what every game developer wants, to get money in his pocket?
