The only problem is that it is already too late to implement a resource based economy unless something dramatic on the extreme side happens. It is pretty much the same as trying to instill democracy on a nation of people who have no notion of it or have ever experienced it. The human race has the ability to do great things but I constantly see things put in place to keep us from doing so. I mean seriously, look around and ask yourself, is this it? Is this how life is suppose to be? |

Planetside when it was in its prime hands down. No game to date has given me that feeling of being part of an all out war like planetside did. |

Where the hell do you "its the customers fault not the company" people come from? Are you seriously this delusional? I mean wtf frame of mind do you have to be in to actually believe this crap? FUNCOM DROPPED THE BALL plain and simple and guess what, when people see that a product is shit they tend to try to warn others so they don't have to go through the same crap. |

The only thing Age of Conan proved is that Funcom could not do it. Do not judge all other games based on them. |

Some of the post defending Funcom and saying the people posting are the problem are freaking amazing. So if a company puts out a product that doesn't perform like they said it would and the customer doesn't like it for that reason and he/she warns other customers not to buy it, it's the customers fault that the product is in the situation it is.........are you serious? lol |

I'm so tired of fantasy that I reactivated my AO account a while ago. I love the depth of that game but it needs serious updating. |

Because the fact they they took resources from AO to help AoC is starting to effect AO negativly. Now hear me out, I know AO has been around for years and AoC is now their cash cow but it is failing miserably and when you start to hurt one game for another that seems to be headed for the gutter no matter what then something seriously needs to be looked at. Plus they have already announced that they are working on yet another mmo and AoC isn't even half a year old. They odviously do not have enough people or dare I say talented programmers to take on this many tasks. Infact I think AoC is in the shape it is in because Funcom moved people to work on their new mmo soon as AoC was released. I reactivated my AO account last week after beeing gone for a good 4 years and was surprised at how many people are still playing. I also started hearing the complaints comming from dedicated players about how AO has gone down hill a bit since AoC came out. Dispite its horrible launch AO is in a lot better shape now and it took Funcom a long time to get it there but things like increased lag, longer wait times for petitions due to ark/gm's being moved to AoC and only one person working on the new game engine are starting to piss off AO players. Now I see the same thing happening to AoC and well, its just not smart.

This is why I find this whole thing to be weird in the first place. Edgar Mitchell never said he himself saw anything but that he was told things from people he trusted who were "in the know". So why would he come out like this even though he has never personally witnessed any of it? Another thing is how the major news networks are picking this up when they usually don't touch stuff like this. |

Yup, astronauts are such rational people. So, yea, right, I believe everything astronauts say. After all, it's perfectly normal for a rational person to be launched into space as part of a rocket containing explosive fuel that was manufactured by the lowest bidder in a government contract.
There is a difference between a person who was in the astronaut training program and went bonkers and a person who successfuly went through the program, successfuly went to the moon and made it back alive. By your wording NASA must be sending nothing but nutjobs into space. |

Well seems that the powers that be are working to cover this up already. I just saw a story on msnbc about this and they totally attacked Dr Edgar Mitchell's credibility even though he was an astronaut. They didn't even interview him but had their local "NASA guy" try to play Edgar off as a cook "but a great american and my friend". Classic testbook example of how the government deals with anyone who trys to talk to the public about this subject and its starting to get old. All these people who have at one time held very important positions in the US government and military that are coming out and saying something is going on must all be crazy right??? |

So now we have a former Apollo astronaut coming out and saying that yes, the earth has been visited by aliens. I'm just wondering what its going to take for people to start taking this seriously. |
