Try reading the patch notes. You now press the F key to heal/repair yourself. This works a lot better than not healing yourself because some NPC ran past and the game decided you meant to heal them instead.

thank you for the info and i did read the patch notes but didnt see that in it

can you tell me what buttons i need to hit to get my injector guns to work?

or what buttons i need to hit to get the actions to fire from my tool bar?

because as of last night none of these items are working properly

Either that or the people who once defended the game have reached the point where it has lost it's sparkle... less than 6 months later, even.

I wonder, will TR last long enough to see a first-year anniversary?

My hope for them is that they've abandoned this flame fest and discovered actual fan sites of the game. But, if you insist on taking this website as a representation of the TR playerbase, an 8.2 user rating is nothing to be ashamed of.

It must be something in the water. I log into my email and there's TR's desperate 'please take me back' email, and two emails later, the same thing from LOTR.

And LOTR are stilling trying to get to me to commit to a lifetime relationship for $200.

It's just so tragic.

If the game has really improved then approach the reviewers at gamesites and ask them to try it again and write another review. Cos I'm.... oh what's that phrase going around.... time-poor, yeah that's right I'm time-poor and have none to spare re-installing games I didn't enjoy and then downloading months worth of updates on the slim chance this invitation is anything more than a pitiful act of desperation.

This last ditch effort is not going to work this game is a mess and has really dragged down NCsoft. That's what they get for throwing millions into that freakshow of a middle aged space cadet garriot. Games like this are really dragging down the whole genre.

Why are you guys so butthurt?

How is it "dragging down the whole genre" when it's in it's own genre all together?

TR is not your standard MMO.

While people still play and have fun, I hardly consider that a failure. When the plug is pulled, that's when it's failed.

worst move for me was

-making mobs tougher = gameplay slower

(they should have just upped the damageoutput of mobs_*make it a fast deadly gore feast!!)

I do  hate to beat a *lousy -reen-hill-wolf*

12+ times with my deadlyswordofreaping to beat it, its just not realistic and boring. TR was new there but changed it back to slow pace

- And changing the outposts from *important*

to hold , to worthless was also meeeeh

My two big brakingpoints together with the

ongoing massiv changing of classes by the devs.

That just showed they didnt have a true goal but just trying around what works :(

Why on earth (or any other planet for that matter) would anyone that played the game in beta and launch come back?   I too had high hopes for the game and was very diappointed.  Another lesson to be learned regarding the release of games before they are ready to go to market.

Current Games:
WOW - Alliance Priest
Warhammer - Destruction Zealot

Past Games (All characters retired):
LOTRO - Captain
Tabula Rasa - Medic
AOC - POM
EQ2 - Shaman Defiler
EQOA - Shaman Diviner
EVE Online - Interdictor Pilot

You say it like it's inevitable.

Anyway, does the same logic apply to SWG? SOE admits they did a bad move in introducing the NGE, and that the subscriptions have dwindled. Right now it's all but dead... still alive, but I believe it's a failure.

TR is dead (to me and to many other people who bought it at launch). It fails.

... but hey, if you enjoy it, then go for it.

Hardly - work have cracked down on non work related internet access - so no more browsing the forums on my lunch break.

At home real-life has cut my gaming back to two nights a week, and as you can imagine I would rather be playing than posting.

But having just spent 2 hours playing TR, I thought I would stop in before I head to bed.

I haven't been trolling for a long time now, but not because my superiors will fillet me if I'm caught online posting in forums. I just have to fill a double quota now since they just laid off like half the grunts (I got a raise though, huzzah).

I should get to posting again now that you're back!
