Covers a few questions some might have ;)

Nice. I know nothing is ever 100% until it happens, but with Gaute, Erling and Jason doing all these interviews and forum apperences it extremely convincing that May 20, 2008 is a go. That and Gaute saying it verbatim in a previous interview, lol.

As for Battle Keep seiges, I have to say I think it's going to be more dependent on the players computers and their internet connections (as far as if they can handle it) as opposed to stability and implemntation by Funcom. I can empathize with people whose machines are just short of or barely meet the minimums and are still on dial-up conncetions, but there are many, many gamers that exceed those minimums that on high speed connections interested in this game. More than enough to "pay the bills" for Funcom.

Just hoping for a stable, good launch, which will be helped by the pre-order folks getting to download and patch up a few days early.

Rats are uiniversal. Even if Funcom promised not to have quests like "kill 10 rats" i am sure there have been rats on hyberborea. :P

Best race in any game ever. :D And i do not understand why SOE isnt releasing a game "Ratonga online" XD

I've seen crocodile humanoids and a scorpion archer humanoid ... thing (the concept art was great) but no rat-men. Maybe they are crawling in a dungeon somewhere, who knows.

damn i guess i might not get this game then.  Elves in Pink trousers really make or break a game for me...i hope WAR doesn't let me down.

on a side note can Cimmerians can wear said trousers?

Atrox in a wedding dress was hilarious enough and ridiculous enough at the same time. No idea if this kind of humour will be available in AoC.

Quite a lame interview I must say. First, if he knew anything about Elves as they are depicted in most fantasy worlds he would not say such balderdash (I suggest he should read the Silmarillion.) Second, the comment with the pink trousers comes from a corner that disqualifies him personally. Third, a MMO with only ONE race (humans) has no standing to make jokes of whatever nature about other MMOs races. Fourth and last, a MMO RIPE with women in bikini chainmail and super buffed up squareface men has ZERO qualification to call other MMOs doings stereotypical.

Arrogance and stupidity, a deadly mix.

Hopefully they replace that guy with someone who can talk, he has more "err" "ahem" and "eh" than audible words whenever he opens his mouth. I see that guy in every damn AoC video. A real PR catastrophe that man. ><

Besides a man like him (you really should watch his other appearances) with such a horrible personal fashion sense should keep his mouth TIGH SHUT about what someone prefers to wear!

I'm not a expert on elf lore but i'm pretty sure the "elves in pink trousers" he was refering to was Blood elves in WoW
