See, there is the thread that states that the latest patch has been a big performance increase for someone. Many people agree...and you pounce on it and try to destroy it. Fun fun.

Sorry but I can promise you what he is saying is true, i'm in the CB and the patch is Definitely real. anyone who has issues right now in open beta should expect a big increase in performance.

  I wish to god Funcom would just do the smart thing and lay out the REAL client then.  I'm sure they have reasons for what they are doing...but if this new CB patch fixes things (and I'm a believer here) then I'd be interested in them spending at least a week stressing IT as well.

  Besides, we'd have the bonus of shutting all this up for awhile.  I'm a hater, but I'd realllllly like it if the things I hate on could actually get talked about and experienced for once.  I guess I just chose the wrong stuff to hate on...now I gotta wait and crap before I can be an awesome troll here too :(

About 40% getting worse performance isnt a minor problem and 150 developers should be able to work out some bugs and performance issues without any problem dont you think? Too bad AoC gameplay wont be fixed as easy.

Well I just logged in after the latest patch and my performance has gone from good to Stunning !!! ......... Woooooooot  Funcom are my new hero's !  

Who in their right mind would play a game with 10 minute loading screens (that's what I heard they were before this patch). Funcom would be ashamed to call themselves an MMO company if they let that go unchecked. This is common sense, don't get so excited about it.

Well where did you get the 40% getting worse performance? Judging by the forums I don't see that much at all, especially as it's the haters that are infinitely more vocal. Devs are working on the it and are narrowing down the performance problem and it's getting better with every patch, and the people who are getting worse performances are getting fewer. They are WORKING on it, I fail to see why you want the game to fail so much, all these positive posts should have given even you some hope at least.

What's wrong with AoC gameplay? Now that performance is marginally better and will eventually iron out, you start attacking the gameplay? lol I don't even know why I'm even replying to you, guess it's your job to spread doom whatever the case. GL with that, peace!

Longest I had was about 5 minutes in OB but that was when I first entered that zoned and after that it usualy takes about a 1 or 2.  And there are CB testers saying it takes about 20-40 sec.

Well the mobs look like their feet never touch the ground, they move and spin and twist their legs and feet around while standing in one spot. Also, the combat looks...yes, I said LOOKS...boring to me. Mostly going to be about reflexes if you're melee, using whichever key you need, and some memorization when it comes to combos. Ranged/spellcaster...that looked boring as hell to me. Even less fun than WoW's, or at the same level. Nice graphics though, and all the other features I can't comment on yet, we're only at level 20 here right?

Before we truly judge the gameplay we have to consider how long the feeling of "new" lasts. Most importantly when it comes to combat of course. But think how much we fight in MMOs. How long will "using 3/5 arrow keys" and "pressing an auto attack button while using skills that may focus on position, certain elements, ect" become synonomous? Only time can tell on that one.

Well then what the hell did this patch do, make the loading time one sec? Rofl. That's bull. This doesn't apply to OB yet, does it? Or did I misread? Hope not, cuz then I'd look like an idiot, hehe. And I did hear 10 min somewhere unless it was a gross exaggeration, or you have one beast of a comp.
