Daaaaaaaaang

Here's what Age of Conan needs to improve on

- There needs to be a better motivation to do PvP: rewards, braging rights, extreme-on-the-edge competition

- Actually the game seems perfect beyond that stand point I mean I can't think of anything else they need to improve on, it seems perfect: the graphics, Oblivion type gameplay, balanced classes, guilds, PvP, sign up sheets for quests, missions, and adventures. Perfect economy hard work = lots of rewards. I love it. Come to think about it, age of conan takes all of the other MMORPGs good points and blended it into a facinating game

Thank You

Xenosaiyan

P.S.  And this is what I thought before I played the game, I can't imagine what I think about this game now.

What if it is? But still not? Is it still the same as it were before? Perhaps it is.

I'd say that the rewards most likely will be fixed when the game is released :)

P.S. CANNOT WAIT, this article got me just a little hyped because I know this game is perfect

In my opinion there is something that needs improvement. The replayability. It's not an issue right now but we will see a lot of complaints in the future. when you start a new character you always start in the same place. I dont know how big this issue will be but is an issue. some games have diferents start zones depending on race and or proffesion. It's not the case in AoC. On the other hand, the starting zone is a half single player/half multiplayer experience, so we still need to see how it develops in the future.

Another thing that needs improvement?, I have another one: Open beta should be opened now, not this evening

I would like to see:

More character customization in skills, characteristics, and abilities. Characters are FAR too locked in by their classes and a rigid class structure = dumbed down play.

Fix the issues with crashes and such. Yeah, everyone says to expect that in a beta, but the game has already shipped and I've crashed well over a dozen times today. NO other game does that to my game computer.

Allow a greater variety of character customization in the early levels, be nice to see a bit of variety in the busy areas...

Don't make the game conducive to "camping"!!!! I've already seen quests where people have to camp to get the quest items. THIS IS HORRIBLE!

I totally agree very fun looking game and on beta it looks beter than some of todays MMO's which is good and immagine in a year or less what they could put extra and improve (which it doesnet need much improvement)

maybe more and beter pvp rewards and they should add sets like in WOW if they havent allready done that would be very cool

Take care

FC stated that once you get a character past level 20 you will have the option to start a character from that level. Whether or not that is implemented by release, I'm not positive, just wanted to add to that issue.

My only real issue(s) are the performance and the lack of information that we've been getting. Things such as tiny bugs, like falling through bridges or the game not running on specific systems, are easy, fixable problems. Things such as memory leaks and crashes are what I'm worrying about.

forever we will remember, forever forgotten it will be not.

I don't understand these rewards you want, what happened to the good ol days where you killed a player just because you wanted to kill them. We don't need rewards thats bullshit we need carnage! If you need a reward in order for your interest to PvP may I recommend carebear MMOs.

After 5 characters, (actually, just after the 2nd one), I was SICK TO DEATH of Tortage, every character's start city.  The main quest line differed only slightly by class, and wasn't enough to make the quest line interesting a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time.  BTW, Highest char in beta - level 58 Demonologist.

ATM there are very few zones in general and even less so that you would need to vist to level up in.  For example, there was only one zone for level 50-60 players (or two, I forget), and same with level 60-70.. 1-2 zones.  Actually same with most level xx to xx+10 zones.  You don't have many choices of where to level, getting worse at the high end levels.

So, you're progression through multiple characters is a very boring and repetitive experience.

Funny, I think the game had a lot of things they needed to work on, and like other games, was shipped with many bugs included - too early in most tester's opinion.  The main quest line still has gamestopper bugs you need a GM to assist you with.  Not everyone with get caught by these bugs, but *many* have, and will, and will get very frustrated.

I'm going to wait for the game to mature some more before I drop my cash into it.

Gotta ping this one.

The classes are FAR from balanced, and that's from actually playing multiple characters, and grouping with different classes, playing in all the pvp games multiple times with multiple classes.

For example, mage classes, mainly the demo and necro, are sickningly squishy.  If you can put up with the "combo" key-mashing, I'd recommend playing a class that can take some abuse, like a Guardian, or hell, even the Barb.
