LOL, yeah.  You know, there are a couple of gaming companies out there that seem to be handling hype rather well.  Or at least the lack there of.  TCoS and Aion, both are still, for the most part rather unknown to the general public and most likely will remain that way until they release.  I should think that to be a good thing with what we see from this particular thread.  Anyone notice whether these young people have made any comments about AoC since release.  I dare say..NO.

Aion could be a sleeper hit if it didn't have the "asian grinder" looming over its head.  I am not sure about TCoS anymore. . .I have registered on their site for what seems like forever and still not much new news.  Although their sound engine is going to be phenomenal if it works as presented.

Have patience locklain..and i love that name for any MMO..great imagination there sire!  TCoS is doing it right, uhm, I hope.  By not leaking much information, they keep a handle on things and that should pay dividends down the line.

As for Aion, well, I was in Lineage 2 back when it was the most popular MMO in the world arguably, but still was before WoW and EQ2.  Aion is similar..I said SIMILAR..NOT the same, (flamers)..therefore it is likely it could be a bit of a grind.  It definitely will be hardcore, so my guess is you won't have much time to try other games out while you level your character to stay up with your guildies and the competition. Harkens back to the days of the L 2 grinds for gear and weapons.  It is said, and I think I saw it on the Aion forums here, I think, that there shouldn't be much of a grind. I'll believe that when i experience it first-hand!

First off, I thank you.  Been using the name for some time now (D&D days I believe).

I wouldn't mind a good grind game as long as it gives me something to do in between groups (explore, craft, stuff like that).

Oh this is nothing. I got lot more goodies in my bag. Good enough to embarrass a lot of people who are going to eat there words about Age Of Conan. These so called supporters or fan boys were mean and humiliated a lot of people in the past who had even a single doubt or speculation about the upcoming big revolution to MMO genre.

Oh well one of such person has now permanently shifted to off topic discussion. I don't think they have much left to say now.

I've got some great ones from 2007 between myself and some of the better know fans talking about subjects like whether sieges were implemented, whether the game could support a large number of people on screen, whether the combat would be button mashy,  quests broken, etc.

They actually thought they had 'won' when I stopped posting about it, heh. There are no winners when a bad mmo gets released on the market.

Needless to say, its been a real pleasure seeing everything finally come out after so many coverups and excuses. It was worth every last flame I got from you-know-who ;)

I hope hes still around, I'd like to shake his hand.

There are some who are going to go down with the ship, one that posted almost daily is still around but not posting alot that is AmazingAvery. I gotta give the guy his do he's still around.

AmazingAvery posted this morning and listed all the updates in todays funcom update.
