Now, i just have to say something about this game. Its totally amazing

1. Landscapes are lush, warm, very very very very believable and realistic
2. Graphics are simply the best I have seen in a mmo so far
3. Combat is cool and refreshing
4. Performance is very good after last patch. No more hitching and lagg for me

This is going to be the next big thing. First there was EQ, then WoW destroyed our social lives. Now its time for Age of Conan.

I am so god damn impressed by this game it hurts. There are too many negative people on this board who doesent know what they are talking about. You all just wait until release.

This title will rock you all, so go and buy it now.

Anyways, the main issu about this game is performance. And I'll have to see it before I beleive it. And even then, who is gonna play such a high specs requirement MMO? Only a few, only a few. FOr now...

Mal and Union get your head otta your A@@, your trying ever reason to put down an amazing game...its people like you that i stay away from this site...grow up

In picture nr 2 with me backed up against the ocean I have 26 fps or something. But the thing is that the game is smooth like hell with that fps. Its weird. Im gonna download fraps and try to shoot something for you all :)

I don't see why it would. What I however see is more choices for everyone, and like some other things in AoC this level of details/customization is something new in the mmo world.

What I love in this game is the level of detail and world polish. The lighting/shadows is also the best in mmos today, even surpassing the directx 10 Lotro lighting. For me all this world polish adds so much to immersion into the world; I know some people don't care, but for me the feeling I get in this polished world is night and day compared to the unfinished state other games are in, like VG for example (which could be as good, but as of now 1 year after release it still doesn't even have proper shadows or even antialiasing, so talk about world polish...).

I have to agree with Morgaur. Its realy a great game and its a pity that i wont be able to play it cause my computer is not good enough to run it

Outstanding graphics does not make an outstanding game. Played in the pvp weekend and some closed beta and was bored to death by lvl 10. While i didn't have but a few loading screen problems, the world of conan seems small and univiting to say the least.

FC said they had two choices when making AOC. Make it be a seemless world full of exploration with less graphics or make it how it is. For me, and i would imagine many others, they chose the wrong path. I think the biggest problem i have with the game is having to play through 20 lvls to finally get to the part of the game that somewhat may resemble a true MMORPG.

I think wjhen it's all said and done, the flashy graphics will wear off pretty quickly for most people and the closed in world of hyboria will shine through. Leaving many feeling disengaged and unsatisified with the game.

Yeah. Taking level 13 takes LOADS OF TIME. It's easy. And i love the single-player storyline aswell.

But yeah, it's not for everyone anyhow. People love bashing new games :)

Rawr, Im not being all negative about you. Some people wants more speed and action. I want the crafting but hey. I need to hit 40 for it.

If the main issues is performance then its your PC that needs sorting out!

Same Hi res that is being used in EQ2 and Vangaurd dude, what you want WoW graphics?

Go out and buy a decent PC or get a console instead, and then you can have AoC when it comes out on the consoles!

Not that I care at all if you played.  Actually by the way you reason I would prefer if you didn't, but if you are going to judge an entire MMO community based off of this guy, or even these boards then you have a lot to learn.  Every community has every range of person and you just have to align yourself with like minded people.  I mean would you just say 'No thanks' to going to high school because you hated stoners and you met a couple when you registered?  No you go to School and meet the people that you click with and hang out with them.  Or do you really expect that every person in every community is going to be as mature and awesome as you?
