Has of right now, I just finished downloading and patching the game. I started on the 10th. It took me all of four days to finish all of it. If the download had started on the 14th,  I wouldnt have finished until the 18th or the 19th. That would have more or less ended my early access of three days. I think it was a smart move to change the dates.

I do feel bad for all the people having trouble downloading the client and then having problems getting it to work right. The downloader was very slow compared to the patcher. It gave me a bad taste in my mouth of doing downloads like that vrs. just going out and buying the game in a store or doing it online from Amazon.

Anyways, I am happy that they did give us more time to download it. I think a lot of people would have been pushing it to have it done by the 17th.

7 hours, downloaded, patched and installed.  What's your connection speed cuz 4 days is just a touch on the slow side.

I've been downloading since the 13th and should be finished tomorrow (fingers crossed), it seems they underestimated demand for early access. I'm glad we got extra tim to download though.

I got it within 4 hours it seems people need to get decent connections.

took me 18hrs total with around 200- 300kbs

Still I was thinking on starting a whine thread, bitching about how Funcom screwed up and how their downloader sucks. But then I realized I'm not 13 years old.

I wonder what my dowload time would be if I was able to?

I have a decent connection. Even with using all the tips to get higher speeds, It didnt work for a lot of people. After reading the funcom fourms, I realized I was not alone in getting 50-70kps with the downloader. But, the patcher ran at 200-300kps. I do feel really bad for the folks that went through days of downloading, and the program did not work right.

I do give funcom credit for changing the dates. I think they knew people would have trouble with the speeds, and they changed it. Cudos to funcom!
