    • Laggy and buggy as Vanguard was, aggressive community, a game ALL made of instances and a world all of ugly brown and grey tones. Stay AWAY!

    • Ugh. While I've got to give it up for a game company that spends more on advertising than on the game itself, I have no intention of playing a monochromatic Vanguard designed to appeal to the most purile of players. I'm sorry, there's no call for urination animation (yes, it's in the game...with sound!). Avoid this game if you're over the age of 14.

    • Style over substance. Funcom got carried away with emphasis on visuals and the rest of the game has suffered for it. And frankly, the graphics don't look that much better than Guild Wars, which doesn't require a super computer to run. Can't recommend this title unless you've got a new, high-performance Vista rig and really, really must have bewbies and decapitations.

    • So far, this is my favorite MMO in a long time. It like stepping into Everquest when it came out. Nothing compares.

    • Nothing really new here...combat is changed a bit...and if you don't have a top of the line system do not plan on being able to play this well....won't kill wow because not as many people will be able to play
  • Hoobies(posted Sun May 11 2008)
    • I'm not a huge fan of zoning, but the game world is rich and combat is a blast, though not really revolutionary. Has huge potential to be one of the best mmo's released in last few years.

    • played the beta---AMAZING (closed beta) except i ran into 2 two partily broken quests might be just my computer though.....still better than any MMO out right now

    • the base of my "hype" is combat style fatalities and lots of gore that you cant see in others mmorpg games
