the fact that WAR got pushed back to Q3 might help it alot. There will be alot of people that wont be addicted to WAR that are looking to play something. |

Who says WAR will be such a great game? I am really sorry, and I know I sound like a troll but..
I looked at this game closely, and it is alot like WoW with some improvements.
TCoS wont be aimed directly at WoW players. It will be casual and such, but it isnt aiming at WoW players like WAR is doing.
WAR can keep its players
No really this game doesnt need 10mil players to be succes full. No game does. Look at EVE with their 600k subscribers. |

I honestly don't think WAR has anything to do with TCoS. The Warhammer universe has its own fans who will play the game regardless of what it comes out to be. TCoS certainly has its own playerbase, like me who are fascinated by the art and different feeling and other who like the game because it's different from everything that's out yet and because it does not compare to anything. I just pray there are enough players to play with and I'll be fine :) |

there are a lot of people who are not war fanboys but, will try out war because there isn't really anything else out there. but if war gets delayed, and more info on tcos gets release. There will be those who will flock to tcos. just hope the nda gets lift and open beta comes soon. thats there only way to advertise tcos. thru open beta and word of mouth since they dont even have a publisher here in the US yet.

There are thousands of players that are bored senseless with the games out right now and will play whatever comes out first and is good. This is a huge pool of players that TCoS would be stupid to not tap, and the fact that WAR will not be able to tap this group of players before the fall means that alot more will try TCoS. |

Exactly, the first and good game will have a nice pool of interested players. I can only hope TCoS grabs this opportunity. |

Well.. If I read the betaleaks forum now and then.. it sort of reveals a differnt part of WAR that isnt fun at all.
No, I wont tell you what, and I wont give the forum. Look it up yourself
Yes I do trust these people. Why? Read their reviews and you should know. |

Originally posted by Thatim WoW players are part of the MMO market and thus, every newly released MMO partially aims at WoW players whether they intend to or not. I'm also curious as to what parts of TCoS you think are similar to WoW. |

Nothing about TCoS reminds me of WoW in the slightest. I am sure that people will draw comparisions to all other mmo's as we played other games and when we get to play TCoS we will know more. WAR to me looks like it was made to directly and obviously compete with WoW. AoC and Darkfall as well. I do not get that feeling from TCoS. TCoS sounds and looks totally different than the 3 aforementioned mmo's. Personally I am not interested in WAR or Darkfall in the slightest. I might try AoC but will wait at least 1 month after release to make a decision. Hopefully we will have some word about EU release for spellborn in the next 2 months. If I can get my hands on TCoS I will not look back. But please, play what you like. There is almost too much to choose from and some of the mmo's out there may have to go away as many already have. And some just refuse to die, i.e. Horizons. Played that 1 too. |

I've read many articles about tcos, and i would say, it very impressive for some reasons. 1. Very small groups for any content type (12). 2. Wear is nothing, only pretty view. 3. Some action elements, like slasher.
Spellborn International already made this game. Now we can see only beta testing of content, not game.
I'll join to this game anyway, for made my own view. |
