Of course it's pay to play. Supposedly free games are not free and suck because of poor design and content since there is less money to invest in the game and pay real designers and programmers. $50 for the box and $15 a month is too much for you to afford? Go cut some lawns.

Yes it is P2P. It's best that way, believe me! They will have game-cards as well, apparently...so it won't be hard for people who don't have a Credit-Card to play.

You should not have to pay 15 bucks a month for any game. WoW rips people off, they make just about 1 billion dollars a year on there monthly fees. NO game company needs that kind of money to even get real programmers. Most of these companies just want more money to put into there pocket, and FYI there are good free games out there. Companies can get money easy from advertising companies, sponsers, item malls, and donations. Even if they charge a monthly fee of like $1 a month, they would have enough to pay for the game fees in full. Like I said, they just want money in there pockets.

The 15$ per month is for profit, because they pay staff to moniter the game, create new content, find bugs, and create stories, and host the servers. Free games are horrible because they have very little staff.
If you're only going to play free games, you're never going to play a good game. |

Actually there are many good free games out there...that are better than many p2p games. Perfect World for example...is totally free and better than a lot of p2p games out there. You do not have to pay a monthly fee to play a good game, and I am not being naive...you just do not want to believe that the money your spending is wasted in someone's pocket, so you try to invent a way for it to be alright. |

perfect world looks like another L2 clone using the unreal 2 engine... plus its asian so its prob a grind fest... Nearly all asian mmorpg games i have palyed have all been a lot liek L2..
OK I could be wrong with Perfect World I may download it and check it out as its free...
